Harry Potter: Gryffindor Deluxe Stationery Set Hardcover – August 4, 2015

This is a wonderful stationary set and will please any HP fan who loves to write and send letters. The box is quite handsome and even the interior is covered in an Argyle pattern with tiny Gryffindor crests all over it. I was most impressed with the wax seal which is very high quality. (Just like the brass ones they sell in Scribbulus at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Orlando). It has a wooden, screw-on handle which can be removed to allow other brass seals to be attached.The journal is lovely and the stationary is a nice size, not the huge letter size that the post office charges a higher postage rate for. The paperweight seems to be made out of painted resin but is a decent weight to hold down small stack of paper. Overall, I am very pleased and would defintely purchase more as gifts or even a backup for myself!

I just have to say that it's a great thing I purchased this simply bc I'm a HUGE Harry Potter fan and not bc of the pictures on Amazon bc I have to say, in person this set took my breath away! I am absolutely in love! The paper is made of quality paper, the journal is gorgeous leather and everything else is also made of quality stuff. The wax and seal are easy to use and make a gorgeous seal!! I am buying another set bc at this price to have something so amazing at such a great price is the best!!! The only negative thing I would say is that it only come with 20 envelopes and 20 sheets of paper. I would have liked if they would have at least doubled the paper. However like I said, at the price it's still an amazing deal and so wonderful to have something from the Harry Potter world!!! It's a must have for anyone who is a Harry Potter fan and definitely a have to own if you're a Gryffindor!!! :)

This would be an amazing gift. Even though i bought it for myself😄. I love the wax letter seal. It took me a little practice. It worked really well when it was cooled like the directions recommended. I used a washcloth moistened with cold water and held it on the seal, dried it off and it worked perfectly. The box is really nice. Love the stationary, the wax sticks, and journal. It had a soft leather like cover. I like that it had a pocket in the back. The only thing i didn't like was the circle paper weight. I really feel a pen would've went with this set so much better. I don't use the paperweight it all. I keep everything the way it came in the foam insert in the box. I would love to get the deathly hallows version of this box too. Overall Amazing.

I absolutely love my Gryffindor stationery set. It was one of my favorite Christmas gifts. It came with so many wonderful items, and I am hoping to use them for something special instead of everyday use (I know, I know). All of the items in this set are great quality. The wax sealer is so fancy, I cannot wait to put it to good use. The only problem I have with this product is that it wasn't available in Ravenclaw. That is usually my go-to house for Harry Potter items, but Gryffindor is my second option. I would like to add that including some stamps with this product could be something that makes it more enticing. I currently own the Harry Potter collection of forever stamps, so they will go wonderfully with my stationery when it comes to mailing things out.

This is an interesting gift for a Harry Potter fan. I love the stationary. It's thicker than printer paper and it comes with envelopes. The paper weight is really cute. It also comes with a matching journal so it really is a cool collection. It comes with two sticks of wax and a stamp. The stamp works fantastic. My trick is to rub ice over it, wipe the water off with a paper towel and then press it into the hot wax. But my one complaint is that the stamp detail is blurry so you can't really see what it is or the words.

I'm a huge fan of the Harry Potter book series but I tend to think most HP merchandise is poorly done (cheap and/or cheesy). I had originally intended to buy only the journal but ended up purchasing the set because it was only a few dollars more. I'm happy I did. This is a quality set. I'm really surprised that the price is so low given the quality of the items. I posted a lot of pictures because the few above weren't very helpful to me.The set comes with a faux-leather journal, envelopes and stationary (which I probably won't use), a paperweight, and a wax seal with 2 sticks of wax (fun!!!) packaged in a heavy cardboard box with an argyle print interior. It is so awesome that I'm thinking about purchasing another set!

This set is absolutely gorgeous. The paper is of good quality, and i'm excited about the sealing wax and seal stamp! I can't wait to send a howler on this paper! My only complaint is there isn't enough paper and envelopes, I'm going to end up hoarding it whispering, "My precious..." lol
