About 4 months ago, my right knee started to hurt me badly so I couldn't do my usual activity and even walking was painful.I thought this will go away soon and, for the meantime I used knee sleeve. After a couple weeks, the pain didn't go away so I went to see an orthopedic.The physician told me after checking that due to my age, 74, and activity in the past, walking every day 8-9 miles in the last 4 years, my knee got tired ...He said that there are 2 options, first, injection into the knee and second, since he doesn't see anything bad there, continue using the sleeve and increasing the activity slowly.I chose the second option but, the sleeve didn't help too much. It was not comfortable to wear although the knee was improving slowly.Than I found this Patella brace and after using it for the first time, I was totally impressed! Very comfortable to wear, one don't even remember that's there and the most important, almost no pain at all!Every day passing my activity improved by a lot and now I'm able to walk 5-6 miles per day with no pain!I would highly recommend this to everyone suffering of knee problems.

I have larger legs that make it difficult to wear any typeOf knee brace which left me with using KT tape over and over which is quite expensive. This however fit! I felt supported but it didn’t hit where my pain is so I dont wear it. If your pain is in the middle of the knee below the kneecap this would work well. Mine is to one side and it just isn’t the right thing for me.

I bought this knee brace in April 17,2018. I liked the designs however I used this strap maybe 8-10 times and after the last use stiches came outand now I can not use it and return it at all. I contacted this company on July15,2018 and did not receive any response.

I cannot believe how this small, compact brace works to relieve my torn meniscus pain. I did not believe such a small brace could provide the relief and support that I needed but this one does and then some. I ordered one for my supervisor today so he can experience the same relief as I. The price is beyond fair as there is nothing and I mean nothing sub standard about this brace.

History:My right knee had gotten to the point where going up even two or three stairs caused a sharp pain just below (not under but below on the leg) the patella. Going up a full flight of stairs meant putting the painful leg on the upper step and jumping with the 'good' leg. I started to worry when the 'good' leg started to have problems (most likely caused by favoring the bad leg). I found that using my hand and putting slight pressure on either side of the pain helped. I looked around and this strap came to the top of the list of possible candidates. I told myself if it didn't work I would keep trying others. I started wearing the brace. It took at LEAST two weeks before I felt ANY difference. It was a slight difference. I was beginning to worry that the brace was not helping. Then I realized that I was still "jumping" the stairs. I figured if this was going to work I was going to have to stop favoring the knee. I purposely started using the ball of my bad knee and planting it on the next up step (VERY slowly). I found that it didn't hurt as much as it had. I kept working on it. Lets be clear - it still hurt - just not as much. It kept getting better. After a month or two I decided to try a day without the brace (it needed to be washed). My knee was definitely much better. I left it off for the past month. My knee is better. Very much better. Was there pain involved? Yes. Was there time involved? Yes. This is not a panacea. There was a lot of work involved with this. Did the brace help? YES! Did I have to work over MANY weeks? YES. This is not a silver bullet. It is a helper. An aid.All I can say is - if you have knee pain. Give this a try.

This strap is AMAZING! I tore my minescus in November of 2017-it’s now May 2018 and while I can Walk now, I have Still been dealing with lingering pain. This tiny strap has helped SO much in just a week. It’s unbelievable! I have Almost no limp now and I seem to finally be healing. Definitely an great purchase and I will Be buying more for the summer.

I'm a alpine ski patroller, and I tore my meniscus on the slope last winter. Every day I ski, my knee was in pain, and swelled up, even on the intermediate runs. It would get better some what over night, but never complete. Walking down the staircase was very miserable. During the summer, I didn't ski, and my knee got a lot better, and was able bend as much as the other good knee. The new ski season began, and my knee pain and swelling came back, although not as bad as last season. Over the holiday week, a skiing friend mentioned about the a nee brace for meniscus tear. This patella brace arrived in a few days. I was skeptical about it because it's so small, and didn't look like anything. I put this strap snag below my knee cap, over the base layer, and put the ski pants on. I pretty much didn't feel anything. I could forget about this brace. I was able to ski on the steeps and bumps again without paint! My knee swelled up some, after skiing and running a toboggan all day. But it was not too bad, it recovered over night. Walking down the stair is much easier with this brace, as well. I just wish it comes in different sizes. It too long for me, and the Velcro straps over wrap behind my knee, restricting the range of motion. If I can get a shorter one, it'd be a 5-star brace!

The patellar strap is easily adjustable for a variety of sizes and stays in place throughout my exercise routine. I wear it for cycling in the gym and it never moves and it does not bind or feel at all in the way. The gel pad puts a nice pressure on the front of the knee. I have a torn meniscus due to osteoarthritis and it seems to support all the areas of my knee that have pain. I also wear it for outdoor walks for extended periods with no further adjustments needed. So far I only have praise for the patellar strap brace. I bought a medium and the strap goes all the way around my knee but does fit and is perfectly comfortable. I might have been able to wear a small but I measured a medium.
