Great choice for clean yogurt
I changed to this yogurt and haven’t looked back. I have it every morning with a scoop of collagen, flax and chia seeds, tablespoon of honey, granola, half a banana and a mix of fresh berries and it’s a GREAT breakfast.

Not bad but don't let this freeze
I bought this because I have allergies to everything. This one was one of the brands that did not include yeast as an ingredient. The taste is okay. I usually mix it with berries, honey and granola for breakfast and I really enjoy it. I had it in the back of my fridge and it froze. I do not recommend freezing this as it will turn into a lump of nasty paste. It was like a dough/gum afterward. So bummed that it was ruined after that but I will be buying more.

No tapioca starch, for a wonder
Of the almond-based yogurts available, this particular variety is the only one (even among Kite Hill's offerings) that doesn't use tapioca starch, instead just sticking with locust bean and xantham thickeners. Most may not give half a damn about this, but if you can't have tapioca starch for some reason (as is my case), this is like a narrow shaft of sunlight in a world where the stuff has become massively prevalent over the last couple of years. The yogurt itself is pretty tasty and versatile for sauces, etc., but that's pretty subjective. Fine source of the bacterial cultures yogurts provide in general. My only wish on this is that the best by date weren't always so relatively immediate, especially during times like this when consistent, regular supplies of most anything are tough to come by.

Nice texture, recommend mix-ins for flavor
On its own, I think the flavor is gross. It reminds me of what bread tastes like after it’s been in plastic wrap for a few hours (flashback to grade school lunches!). However once I mix in a little peanut butter powder, honey, and some berries, it’s great! The texture is nice and with the add ins it’s delicious.

my fave non-dairy "yogurt"
Love the flavor, consistency, and how it goes with so many meals and snacks. Wish more stores carried it, and in the large size. Lately I've only been able to find the vanilla and sometimes not the unsweetened one at that. And when it's there, it's usually the single-serving :( Vanilla is OK for fruits and desserts but not so much for stir-fry and salads. I've tried some other brands and bases of non-dairy yogurts - other almond-milk; cashew milk; coconut. This is far and away my favorite.

It was so bad, I want to give it a zero, but that's not possible, so I give it a one.
Listen, I like Kite Hill, I think they're a good brand despite this being my first time trying them. I've tried a lot of non dairy yogurt, my favorite being the coconut ones from So Delicious. This is not my first time trying almond yogurt, so I expected it to be as good if not better than the ones I've had. It was not that. In fact this yogurt was nothing of the sort. It tastes like CLAY! It literally tastes like an elementary school art classroom (derogatory). I'm not exaggerating, I'm very serious. It tastes like weird clay, needed a second opinion and someone told me that, to them, it also tastes weirdly tangier than it should be. So I know I'm not crazy. I bought this because I never see Kite Hill in the stores I live near, I got excited seeing this online, not to mention its a whopping 32 ounces. That's a size you barely ever see for non dairy yogurts, and it's pretty much the same price as comparative 24 ounce tubs. That's a steal to me. But unfortunately I don't like it, instead of forcing myself to eat it I just used it in smoothies. I couldn't taste it at first but when the smoothie started melting (as it does), I could taste it again...that wretched clay flavor.Don't believe the hype, if you want nice almond yogurt, do yourself a favor and buy Silk instead.

Best non dairy yogurt
This has the consistancy and taste of milk-based yogurt but has none of the problems associated with milk products, which can be many. Made from almond milk, it is suprisingly good. I use it with granola, oatmeal, fruit, and as a substitute for sour cream in mexican dishes and dips, and it is delicious. Plus, it helps keep my gut happy with probiotics and no side effects. I can tell a difference if I eat it consistently.
