Mounted easily in our CD slot and works great. Really like just pushing in place and removing with one hand. Charges fine through my phone hard case. Easy to adjust angle too. Great customer service - the dual charger didn't work but emailed the company and they sent a free replacement right away.

I recently bought a used Rav4 with a cd slot that I don't use. The car is old enough that there is no screen, so no worries about a phone obscuring anything important. The mount works well in the cd slot, especially with the little spacer* that forces the fingers in the slot to open wider. With the included lighter socket charger adapter, the wireless charger provides enough current to run navigation with the screen on and slowly charge the battery at the same time. I love the one touch spring loaded grip/release mechanism - easy to mount and dismount with one hand.*One small issue with the documentation. There is a small rectangular spacer (mentioned above) whose job it is to make the cd slot fingers open wider. This is not discussed at all on the instructions, and it is labeled as a "bracket," which it is not. By opening the fingers wider, the mount is more solid in wider slots, which I found useful, but only after figuring out that was the intent.

Works great. Charges great. We like it. Phone can get hot if you leave it on there for too long.

This model comes with both the CD slot mount and the vent mount. I started using the CD slot mount but decided it was too low on the dash to keep the screen readily visible to view album art (my BMW doesn't display album art for Bluetooth audio, at least, not with any of the MP3 software I've tried). So I swapped to the vent mount, and so far it's working quite well, blocks some of the air flow on the passenger side but that is usually not an issue. Does a really good job of keep the phone charged while it's in use (and even when the car is shut off, since the power outlet I'm using isn't switched with the ignition). The only issue is that the Pixel 7 Pro's volume toggle is right where the grips want to hold the phone, but I'm pretty sure I can remove some of the pad and make it not interfere (or add more padding on that side).

I bought this for my wife and for my mother for xmas 2021 because I have one in my car and it works great and they both love it, so I got them both one of their own. Both came defective and haven't turned on to charge their phones once. The power supply lights up the green LED indicating the power supply is on, but the charge light on the iOttie doesn't come on and neither unit charges any phones. We tried mine and mine worked fine with both their phones in both their cars, so we know its the iOttie and not her car. My wife didn't have her car due to repairs for a little while, and my mother needed help setting it up in her car and since she lives a state away that meant me doing it for her the next time I saw her. By the time my wife got her car back and I saw my mother next to help her set it up in her car and we realized they were both defective, the return window was closed. This is a terrible product. When it works it's excellent, but I'm out nearly $100 on two of them that are duds and can't be sent back. Buy from a different brand instead. I will definitely not be trusting my dollar on iOttie again.

Update:Iotte sent me a replacement unit I only asked for cable & plug but received an extra mount as well. Unfortunately, that one didn’t work either! The odds of two not working back to back are low. So I plugged it into my wife’s car and it works perfectly. Apparently this device is just not compatible with my 2014 MazdaCX-5; in either of the two plugs. I verified the wireless charger works when using a cable from my house & aftermarket plug from Walgreens; but it doesn’t work with the stock cable/plug from Iotte; although the stock cable/plug works in my wife’s Ford Focus!Main issue is still no extension arm to prevent from blocking my screen & rear camera. Tried using my previous unit extended arm (pictured) but the ball joints that connects the arm to the unit are two different sizes & use different screws. I mocked up a few using 3D printed ball joints but they ultimately broke & failed. Next step is trying to superglue this ball joint to my extended arm using industrial adhesive from work. A lot of aftermarket work on my end.This would be such a perfect unit if it were to have an extension arm & charging cables worked (probably Mazdas issue but who knows). The wireless charging is great, the one click mount/dismount of the phone to do it w/ one hand is perfect; and using the CD slot- that nobody uses anymore- instead of suction grips that fail or vent mount that blocks heat/AC are all perfect. JUST NEEDS TO NOT BLOCK THE MONITOR! Changing rating to 3-4 stars.Two issues:1) The car plug/cable that came with the unit isn’t working. I verified by using a different cable in the house & plugged into a house outlet and it worked. Also was able to use a separate car plug from my wife’s car, plugged into my car connected to this unit and it worked. The cable/plug is obviously not functioning. Leaving 2 stars & will change to 4 or 5 if I can get it replaced.2) A design issue. I don’t want to use the vent hookup b/c it blocks the air/heat. Using the CD hookup the mount/phone blocks my car display so can’t see the camera when in reverse or the music display. I had another unit that had a rotating neck that connected the phone mount to the CD mount so that it could be rotated/adjusted to be out of sight of the car display & adjusted for sunlight glar, attached is the image of that unit.This would be perfect if that design was implemented with this device.
