Official Nintendo Wii Sensor Bar Black Wired

After reading a number of reviews against the imitation devices, I decided to spend the few extra dollars to order this official piece. My previous sensor was a victim of new kitties chewing on the cable and I needed a replacement fast. I did check after it arrived and there are 5 IR LED's on both sides for a total of 10. I am able to use the device from my couch and have no problem getting it to work. Though sitting back far on the couch the cursor jumps around a bit. That happened with the old one as well though, so I expected that to be the end of the range.It is an identical replacement and verified OEM. After reading the reviews on the cheaper knockoffs, I'd recommend going with this one, just as I did.

It's a replacement Wii Sensor bar, and it works great. Not really much else to say about it! Purchased because our original one is routed through the wall in our living room, and my son wanted to play the Wii in his bedroom. I figured the 13 bucks or whatever was better than opening up the wall, right? Anyhow, the original Nintendo sensor bar has worked for YEARS, without any issue, and I expect that this one will too, as it (as far as I can tell) is identical.

Works perfectly. Just like the original one.Cut the wire of the original bar by mistake. This bar saved me as my kids were upset as I had broken their gaming system.The motions were detected without issue and have not had issue with it.

It does exactly what it says it does and exactly what it needs to do.My only issue is I think it's expensive compared to what you can get it for at like a thrift shop. I guess the extra cost is worth it based on the convenience of not having to look for one but around here, every thrift shop seems to have one for no more than $2.Buy this if you need a bar and don't want to bother looking for one in the wild.

I'm very pleased to say that this truly is an original sensor bar for the WII. I had seen some people selling aftermarket sensor bar and claiming they are the original sensors. This one is an original made by Nintendo, it's just not in an official box (as described in the description). Only downfall to this piece is the super thin cord that probly could have been made slightly thicker as that is the reason I'm replacing the sensor in the first place.

While vacuuming one day my husband ran over the cord of our WII sensor bar totally destroying it. Knowing that our grandson would be coming in two days he was very upset with himself. I told him " no problem... I'll get a new one. " .I got on Amazon, found this product, ordered it and it arrived two days later...three hours before my grandson.It works perfectly! My grandson didn't even notice, and my husband quit feeling so bad that he had torn up the WII. All's well thanks to Amazon and a quick thinking grandma.

So no issues with functionality. Most of my issues are first world problems too. I have a nice 4k 65inch TV that's ultra thin. It was hard to mount the bar without it tilting back or forward. I was able to rig something up (tape) that will work in the long term.If it had a mounting bracket for thing television it would be helpful but I'm sure I'd complain about that too.

The wired sensor bars are far superior to the unwired ones. So glad to have one again. Our first died a tragic death by cat chewing through the cord.

this official one works so much better than the cheap one i bought. if you can afford it buy nintendo, always high quality
