It works - but you have to wear it constantly for quite some time so be prepared
Awesome stuff, recommended by my dermatologist for melanoma scarring and it worked well - made the scar flat and took some pinkness out of it, even after a year. Funnily enough I read it also helps with wrinkles so I tried it for a few nights on a stubborn wrinkle and it worked! It made it shallower and less noticeable. All our family now use this for any scarring and it is worth persevering with it for months as it really does make a difference. We buy it by the roll now because we use it so much!

Comfortable, Helps, arrived on scedule
Works Great, applys nicely, stays on nice for days, washes and reused multiple times, I like the darker ones vs the light. For me darker works best.

Effective Scar Treatment Solution!
The AWD Silicone Scar Sheets are amazing! They are made from medical-grade silicone and have worked wonders on my surgical scars. The tape is easy to apply and stays in place well. I've noticed a significant reduction in the appearance of my scars since using these patches. A must-have for anyone looking for effective scar treatment!

Protects scars from sun
This silicone scar tape is great for protecting scars from the sun! My only complaint is it doesn’t stick great when at the beach, in sand and water. However, it’s nice because you can clean it from the sand and reapply it and it sticks great!

Works well
My aunt uses these for her keloids and she says it helps a ton. Have gotten her multiples already.

Different product every time
The first box I got was a small AWD box in purple- and that tape was AWESOME. Thick and felt great on. Every box since has been different brand and lesser quality. They all stay on for days no issue but still not as good in feel as the purple AWD tape. Don’t know how to get the specific one that I like so I won’t be ordering anymore.

Plastic Surgeon Recommended Tape for Healing, I Can See Why.
I have a large surgical scar on my face. (Skin cancer- horse shoe type flap.) I was told it would take up to a year to heal- get closer to normal. I started using the tape once the active wound was healed enough. I prefer the tape to the scar gels. The tape hides the discolored skin (brown color fading could take a long time- but it is better week by week). I think that 12 hours on then off works best. Showering and washing wound hydrates it, then covering it helps keep that moisture in. A Vaseline or Aquafor coating was used while waiting for the active wound to heal.I found that using scar gel (scar away silicone) did not work together with this tape. The scar away silicone was too sticky, and any tape used stuck to the skin- causing an opening of the wound when you tried to change the tape. The tape on its own worked well. It could be rinsed with warm water and adhered to a plastic baggie until used again.I depends on your wound needs how long this will last, but I feel it is helping and have ordered another roll. This tape is less noticeable than a bandage, which is nice for facial repairs. Have some decent scissors and trim to shape. I trimmed in half length wise for narrow scars. Rounding the corners looks a little cleaner.Pics to follow as this progresses. Cheers!

Helps Minimize Scarring
I had a coronary bypass a few years ago, and my body rejected the stainless sternal wires and needed to be removed.I was left with a thin vertical scar about 12 inches/30 cm long in the middle of my chest. The scar is thin enough that I can cut this tape in half and still have a good wound cover. This tape is an excellent value compared to pricey silicone scar strips, and it works just as well for me.I paid twenty bucks for a ten foot roll, compared to 15 or 20 dollars for a pack of six, 7 inch strips at my local pharmacy.Apparently some people wash and reuse the tape, but I use it for 24 hours and then replace it with fresh tape.At roughly 50 cents per use, I am okay with changing the bandage every day.Heavy perspiration can cause the tape to temporarily lose adhesion, so on gym days sometimes I will secure the silicone tape with 3M Millipore tape. That's excellent stuff to have around for scar management too, but only the silicone tape is intended to be affixed directly to the scar tissue as it heals.I hesitated to purchase this at first due to some of the negative reviews here, which is why I wanted to leave a positive review. It is working well for me.If you have a chest or abdominal scar, this is an excellent product. You may want to secure it with a high quality surgical tape to insure that it doesn't move, but that isn't nearly as expensive as the silicone tape.Overall I am pleased with this silicone tape and it is helping my scar heal flat as well as gradually fade with time.
