Neat and easy to use...Distilled water is terrific for rinsing off glass, as well as providing totally pure water for consumption. Nice product that works well for a fair price.

Easy to use and easy to clean.

I was very disappointed to discover that the charcoal filter was missing when I unpacked all the items from the box. I have assembled it and I am now using it without the filter. The machine is working OK but I have had to contact amazon and arrange a partial refund and then order the charcoal filter separately. It's a hassle and a waste of my precious time. This is the 2nd time I have ordered one of these water distillers. NOTE: I won't be ordering this machine again because of the inconvenience of having to get the filter sent out to me.

The media could not be loaded. This is from first use. Where we live it suppose to be a better water quality.I had this machine for my baby, in addition to her milk dispenser machine which gives a shot of hot water to sterilise the milk formula but the rest of the water is just filtered and not boiled. So I had to be on a safe side did ALOT of research about what is the best for a baby amd for us.Now this 4L machine purifies the water in 4 time and I put it to work 2x/day as since this first use no one drinks tap water again!!Dogs, cats, fish, humans we are all on this for the past month and we feel great, we love the taste as it came with 2x carbon filters and they also do an extra filtering job plus giving the water back some nutrients and the taste , we all love it.I gave dogs and cats then tap water and purified water, they don't go at all for the tap anymore.

Disappointed to not receive any filters

Have to amend review as this distiller has lasted less than 2 years. Great when it was working as below but disappointed in life of appliance. Jan 2022. Ordered different brand with 2 year guarantee.Very simple to use and it does what it says on the box. The only thing I did find was the nozzle on the front can be inserted wrongly then the unit will miss the glass jug and distilled water will miss the jug. We did have that slight problem until I realised what had happened. I reinserted the chrome nozzle unit and all was fine. I've used a charcoal filter in the nozzle section and the water is absolutely fine for teas and coffees and my iron. If course drinking distilled water neat so to speak may not be pleasant experience for some as it's 'flat' but some like it that way. I use white vinegar to clean the unit out after each use. This helps to stop it scaling up. We have very hard water in our area of the UK (south) but it's an easy job just to spray white vinegar into the unit leave it for a few minutes then rinse and wipe out. Some Citric Acid descaler was supplied with my unit but not used that as we found it not necessary if the unit is cleaned out after use I purchased this to for my steam generator iron to make distilled water. My husband has pinched it to distil water for his coffee machine! I did manage to retrieve it and make several jugs of distilled water and store that in a container for my iron and rotary ironer. My husband was not too keen on me buying it at first now he used it every day to make the distilled water for the teas and coffees. The only thing I would suggest is that you put this unit and it's jug on a large tray if you intend to let it run unsupervised just in case the nozzle is not inserted properly and the water drips. But now we have the hang of it no problem but we still put it on a tray. In fact my husband sticks it out on the patio on the garden table under the canopy and lets it do it's numbers. Takes about 3 to 4 hours to fill the jug. We bought a second jug as well. They are a Pyrex type jug but have a silicone ring around the bottom to cushion the jug. The distilled water does of course come out hot so needs to cool before using or putting in the fridge. My husband did find the second jug handle to not fit properly but being good at DIY he filed it and no problem now. But the unit is worth the money. Does the job intended. The jug that came with the unit no problem but you have to assemble the handle to the jug. I did find the little pouting cover to the jug a bit fiddly to get in between the jug handles at the front. Needs a little more room between the handle supports.

Ordered this water distiller, it arrived broken with pieces missing. Returned and received a replacement, now after 6 weeks the unit has just stopped working. Really disappointed as it's not a cheap unit...please avoid.
