It's very important for your safety 🙂↕️
Very good camera for my vehicle. It records absolutely everything I can install very easily and quickly. Good image quality. You need it to record everything, I highly recommend it. It is one of the most complete vehicle cameras on the market in its price range, advanced security features and intelligent connectivity.

Dead after less than 2 years
Disappointed. Dash Cam didn't last 2 years. In the heat of the summer it was common to enter the vehicle to the cam stating the memory card was corrupt and needed formatting. Removing they power and waiting for the unit to cool before reconnecting the power would resolve this. However from the time the unit begins experiencing the issue and it is cool it won't work, making it useless. After less than two years it was dead.I followed Thinkware's online support suggestions to check the fuse on the 12V cable (not the issue) and trying a new 12V cable (purchased just to test, also not the issue).Contacting support they gave me two options (because of course it was beyond the one year warranty).1. Send it to them for repair ($160).2. 40% off voucher for a new device.Disassembling the camera I found two large capacitors that were swollen/ruptured and the battery soldered to the board had broken open (exploded?). However, replacing these did not fix the issue.I will be looking elsewhere for a replacement.

Reliable, Easy Integration, and Great Costumer Service
The high quality footage and easy integration have helped me to love this product. I used the hard-wire setup that I purchased to hard wite it into the car so that it always remains charged. As such, I can't speak to battery function of plugging it into the 12 v outlet in the car.Mounting the camera was simple and the guide easy to follow. The app used to connect to the camera works well. The camera has a network you can connect to that will transmit information to the phone without the use of cables. I found that I would lose service when connected since I had wifi calling selected on my phone (my house had poor phone service). Once wi-fi calling was turned off, I no longer experienced this issue and could be connected to the camera and use my data. I believe that was more of an issue with my phone settings than anything else. The camera continues to serve me well and exceed my expectations.I recently had a problem with my hardwiring set up - not due to quality of the product but due to other reasons. ThinkWare quickly replaced the product and their customer service was excellent.

Pretty good.
I have had this camera system for a few years now. Two complaints: reading license plates is not as easy as some reviews I have read, I call B.S.. second: after a few years the speaker began to static when first turned on - I suspect this is because of the Texas heat coupled with the heat of the front facing unit. That being said, it's a pretty clear picture and video - both front and rear cameras. It does record sound in the cabin if you choose to turn on that feature. This system also shows speed. I am overall satisfied and despite the static when first turned on now, I would still give this set up a five star rating.I have had these two cameras in four different vehicles that I have purchased. Pretty resilient wiring if you're careful on install and removal.

After 2.5 years review
Here is my user review after 2.5 years. It came with all the parts and tools required for install. The cables and long enough for the power supply to reach from the center console to the dash cam and also for the back camera. The glue for both cameras have held on very strongly till now even in summers that reach 100F sometimes. And it has started recording every time weather in hot or cold climate without missing. The video quality output is also very great in bright environments and acceptable in low light driving conditions.Only negative is it does not have a display like the other ones. That means you need to connect it to phone to review any kind of footage and thats where it lacks. The wifi connectivity stopped working around 6 months ago. For some reason the thinkware app doesnot recognize the camera. I can see the camera wifi but just doesnot connect. I have tried to troubleshoot it multiple times with different phones with no success. So if I need the footage from the camera, I need to physically take the sd card out and plug it into a computer. That is also not a huge deal but I am afraid of the day when I have to remount the camera if I replace my windshield because you need live video for initial camera positioning.
