Got the look, and made to last
I needed an ES lamp fittings with an industrial or retro style. It comes in 3 parts. A base, insulated ES screw threaded inner, and a securing ring. These were well made and looked the part. Wiring up was relatively simple as the insulated screw threaded inner was removed and wired first, then assembled into the base and clamped with the securing ring. There is an earth terminal in the insulated inner. It needs a bit of force to push the insulated inner into the base first time as it has a strong earth spring on the side, to ensure good earth contact with the base. Once assembled though you are assured that the whole assembly is well earthed. I'll be using these fittings on my next lamp project.

Does it's purpose
ok so the ceramic suggests its made in england, but theres no CE kite mark anywhere or indicator to suggest =ve or -ve terminals you have to look and earth bonding via a spring clip? this leads me to think its no really a uk product. however it does its job.

No instructions
Not doubting the quality, but as a novice a wiring diagram and assembly instructions would have saved a ton of Googling.

Great product
Really good product for home projects such as making table lamps.I had a lovely battery powered lamp which wasn't ideal so I replaced the battery gubbins with this lamp holder and vintage wifi lamp and boom. Alexa controlled dimmable lamp.Highly recommended.

Schöne Dekofassung für die eigene Kreativität
Ich habe für meine Dekolampe eine Fassung gesucht, die ins Farbbild passt. Viel Auswahl gab es eigentlich nirgendwo, aber bei dieser Fassung bin ich fündig geworden.Die Fassung ist so ausgeführt, dass die Kabelführung von unten erfolgt. Man schließt die zulaufenden Drähte an den vorgegebenen Stellen an (für Laien sind hier Elektriker gefragt), das war es auch schon. Die Fassung selbst schraubt man nur noch auf und das war es.Bei mir hält die Lampe nun schon eine ganze Weile und es ist bisher in keinster Weise ein Mangel festzustellen. Ich würde die Fassung in dieser Farbe wieder bestellen.
