These gloves are great for doing pull-ups. Don't get me wrong, they're great for using weights as well but for me I was trying to find a good pair of gloves for doing pull-ups. I just recently started and can't do very many yet but my previous gloves were definitely hindering my efforts due to where the layers of fabric overlapped and were stitched together. These gloves don't have that problem. The palm has a single piece of fabric which is double stitched and very comfortable for gripping. I love the leather feel and how easy it is to move my hands with them on. I normally wear a large but the last pair of gloves I tried were slightly too small so for these I went with an extra large and they fit quite while. Maybe very slightly large but I think the large sized ones would have been slightly too small.

I'm happy with these gloves despite my first impressions upon opening the package. They seemed too lightweight to last, but surprisingly, they seems to be holding up to some serious abuse just fine.My experience with previous gloves is that the most wear occurs at the thumb seam. Mine usually split between the leather palm portion and the lighter, breathable material used for the back of the gloves. I've restitched that seam to get longer life out of previous gloves, but once weakened the fabric doesn't really last and the seam thread rips out again in short order.For several months now, these gloves have stood up to the abuse of my workouts. The most serious exercises for wear that I experience are close-grip "curl bar" bicep curls. The bar wants to rotate throughout the range of motion of a full curl and really digs in and shears the surface of the glove. That abrasion is what has ripped through the fabric and the thread of my previous gloves in that thumb-to-palm seam I mentioned above. I'm really surprised how well these gloves are doing after several months of use, especially since it appears that some portion of the palm is not natural leather. It looks to be synthetic material of some sort.I really have no negatives to report for these gloves - at this time at least. I highly recommend these as a lightweight but sturdy workout glove to enhance your workouts and to save your skin.

This is my second pair. My first one got stolen. I would have changed the brand, but these are really cheap and nice. Also, they are great if you wear a fit bit, watch or any kind of jewelry on your hands. I also love the fact that it fits my hands. I have really big hands so I needed the XL size. I always run into trouble for size and price. I believe this is one of the best brands out there for me.

Very nice workout gloves. I workout diligently with weights 4-5 days a week. Including pull-ups every week. These are one of the best pairs of gloves I have owned. Nice snug fit, good quality leather and they don’t seem to smell after sweating in them. I read other reviews that “they were hard to get off.” Well I don’t know about you, but I don’t like a handful of fabric bunched in my hand when I’m lifting. I’m glad they fit snug. Better grip and stability. The only thing I have noticed, which all my gloves have done is between my finger and thumb the stitching started to come out. I’m glad these are double stitched. I didn’t want to deduct a star for that. It’s probably the way I lift?? Overall good quality and fit.

The materials and performance are great. The only thing I couldn't figure out is how to wash them when they get sweaty and stinky. I've settled on hand washing with dish soap (joy/dawn) and air drying. So far that has worked fine, but the leather grips loose some dye when you wash them. So far, though, no ill effects, and much nicer to wear (and smell) after being washed.

Excellent product! Incredible value especially for the price! I have just ordered my second pair after my first pair just now started coming a little udone in the thumb area. First pair lasted me over a year using them a minimum of six times a week for heavy lifting. I machine washed and air dried them a few times and they held up very well. I highly recommend this product !

It is a really good quality work out gloves. I've been using these gloves for about 2 weeks now and I can totally notice the difference in my hands from my body pump class. The gloves still look new, and I workout 3 times a week for an hour each time. I had tried a lot of gloves and some were so cheaply made that they would tear in a short time. The size of those gloves is small. I ordered the medium pair, they fit me a little tight.

I have been through numerous workout gloves and these are some of my favorite. Comfortable, breath well. Pretty easy to take on and off. Good grip. No complaints.
