"WrestleMania" At Its Best!
This is easily one of the greatest "WrestleMania" events I've seen in its 22-and-running lineage. The Seattle crowd was always energetic (even during some poor moments). Limp Bizkit put on two spectacular performances. Plenty of pyro-technics and entrance flair were used to give each match its own 'epic feel'. And most importantly, the matches are consistently entertaining throughout. Here's the rundown:1) Cruiserweight ChampionshipRey Mysterio vs. Matt Hardy (champion)---Mysterio enters in a Daredevil outfit, while the heavier Mattitude (Version 1.0) enters with his useless sidekick (Shannon Moore). This is a good match that the crowd is really into, but it's way too short. Eight minutes (including entrances) is not enough time to establish the Cruiserweight division's worth. Still, what's here is really good."7.0 / 10"2) The Undertaker vs. Big Show & A-Train---This was supposed to be a Tag Team match, but Nathan Jones was conveniently injured. That's okay, because at "WM", Taker deserves a solo spotlight. Limp Bizkit performs their "Rollin'" track, the three giants enter, and off we go. This is actually a fairly entertaining brawl between three huge athletes. The Undertaker actually makes us believe how he could have pulled this one off alone. Nathan Jones makes a surprise appearance and delivers some wicked kicks to Big Show and A-Train. It surprises me to say it, but this match is a look."6.0 / 10"3) Women's ChampionshipTrish Stratus vs. Jazz vs. Victoria (champion)---We can usually count on "WrestleMania" to give us good Women's matches, and this is no exception. Each competitor works hard to make this one work, plus Steven Richards has a hilarious chair spot. Oh by the way, fancy entrance for Trish Stratus, which proves WWE spent a crapload of money for the entire card."7.0 / 10"4) WWE Tag Team ChampionshipsLos Guerreros vs. Chris Benoit & Rhyno vs. Team Angle (champions)---Take six of the WWE's top athletes, throw them all together in Tag Team action, and what do you get? One heck of a good contest. Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas (Team Angle) had a lot to prove as rookie superstars, and made believers out of us all. Eddie and Chavo (Guerreros) are always good, and so they are here, yet oddly keep the cheating to an all-time low. Chris Benoit really brings his A-game tonight, and Rhyno also makes his presence known here. This match could've been a little bit better - something's just missing here - but this is still one very good match."7.5 / 10"5) Chris Jericho vs. Shawn Michaels---First off, Shawn Michaels' usual pyro gets upgraded to confetti cannons and TWO sets of fireworks. Good Lord, the spectacle just keeps on coming. As for the match...Holy cow! What an amazing match! These two men showcase everything: breath-taking athleticism, crisp technical skills, finisher psychology, pure charisma, and never-say-die attitude. This is easily one of the greatest matches I've ever seen! There's no interference, cheating is kept to a minimum, and I'm a sucker for those false finishes. I've got nothing but praise now, but this match leaves me speechless every time I see it!"9.5 / 10" - Match Of The Year!6) Cat FightTanya Salinger & Kitana Parker (Miller Lite Girls)vs. Stacy Keibler & Torrie Wilson (WWE Divas)---Not really a match, because nobody wins and it happens on the entrance stage. yes, these ladies are superhot, but something bothers me about this (other than it's a waste of time). The World Tag Team Titles Match got pushed to a pre-broadcast "HEAT". That title bout is on the DVD, but it deserved to be on the PPV show. Anyway, gorgeous women, stupid comedy."1.0 / 10"7) World Heavyweight ChampionshipTriple H (champion) vs. Booker T---Booker T is one of the most inconsistent wrestlers I've ever seen. He can be terrifically entertaining, but boring and uninteresting during other matches. But the Houston challenger brings his A-game tonight, and proves why he can carry the gold. Triple H gets a lot of criticism for being a show-stealer; but to me, he's a WWE professional who knows how to make other guys look good. The finish is pretty weak, but otherwise it's a solid match that earns its World Heavyweight Title headline."7.0 / 10"8) Street Fight - 20 Years In The MakingHulk Hogan vs. Vince McMahon---I really don't care for this one at all. Yes, chair shots are always amusing, and Vince's ladder spot is neat. But this is merely a wannabe-Hardcore match with two geriatrics (or three if you include Roddy Piper). Does anybody really believe Hogan couldn't beat Vinnie Mac? Sadly, Hogan's worst "WM" match ever...including against Yokozuna @ "WM 9"."3.0 / 10"9) The Rock vs. Stone Cold---This is a tough one to call. On the one hand, I recognize that Austin and Rock are two of the greatest WWE has ever had. I realize they take superstardom to the max, and always work hard to put on a great show. However, my other hand tells me that I've seen this match before...twice! If you haven't seen any of their previous classic battles, then you're in for a real treat. However, chances are you have seen those two matches. I'm guessing most will enjoy this one, but not love it. To me, it's a passable match with a neat "ACT III" headline written all over it."6.0 / 10"10) WWE ChampionshipKurt Angle (champion) vs. Brock Lesnar---"WM" rarely goes wrong with main events, and I'm happy to say that this is one of the best! Both men are excellent technicians, incredibly quick, and possess an undying will to win. One thing that stood out to me is that these two guys know how to make submission holds interesting to watch. They're not afraid to mix some old-school pacing with some hard slams and bumps from the new-school pages. Lesnar's shooting-star-attempt is still painful to watch, and Angle really fought his heart out to make "WrestleMania XIX" worth the four-hour running time. Congrats to both men. Oh, and more pyro goes off as the show comes to its fadeout."8.0 / 10"OVERALL---In addition to one of the best "WrestleMania" PPVs ever, Disc II features a plethora of extras including interviews, trailers, superstars' favorite "Mania" moments, and the hour-long teaser program "WrestleMania 3rd Degree" that aired one week before "WM XIX". My highest recommendation possible for one of the WWE's best PPVs!

2nd Best Wrestlemania
I have been a wrestling fan since 1996 and have watched all kinds of wrestling. I have a wrestling DVD/VHS collection spanning over 50 all together. This is the most complete and accurate review of this DVD you will find. I hope you find this review helpful; remember to vote helpful or not helpful.(Note-Each DVD I review has a "Match of the DVD" award somewhere in it.)Wrestlemania XIXThis event was amazing from top to bottom. The staging and extremely long ramp are cool. This is probably one of the best Wrestlemania's you could buy. It was almost perfect. Buy this as soon as you can.Disc 1WWE Cruiserweight ChampionshipMatt Hardy(c) w/Shannon Moore VS Rey MysterioGreat Opener. This match gets you excited for the rest of the event. There is a lot of highflying action including: corkscrew moonsaults, Splash Mountain Bombs to Hurricanrunnas, and much more. This is one of the best openers I've ever seen.RATING-9/10Betweens these two matches, Limp Bizkit performs "Rollin".Handicap MatchUndertaker VS Big Show & A-TrainThis match was originally a tag match that consisted of Undertaker teaming with Nathan Jones. Nathan Jones was attacked by Show and A-Train (with the help of Nunzio) and could not compete in the event. The match is pretty solid which I honestly didn't expect. Nathan Jones makes an appearance near the end and deals out a nice spin kick.RATING-7/10Triple-Threat- Women's ChampionshipVictoria(c) w/ Steven Richards VS Trish Stratus VS JazzThere aren't really a lot of really good women's matches in WWE. This match is awesome though. Victoria does a cool moonsault. Jazz uses her power to control most of the match. The ending seemed a little weak though.RATING-8.5/10Triple-Threat Tag- WWE Tag Team ChampionshipTeam Angle(c) VS Los Guerreros VS Rhyno & BenoitBenoit returns to Wrestlemania after WWE WrestleMania X8 due to a broken neck. This is a solid match-up and keeps the action going well.RATING-8/10Shawn Michaels VS Chris JerichoI might get a lot of hate for saying this, but this match is over rated constantly. It was a great match with a great storyline. The match wasn't that amazing though. I enjoyed it and I know everyone else will enjoy it, but don't get sucked into the hype machine or you will be let down. Still, the story is amazing and the match is great. It is just not a perfect 10.RATING-9/10Limp Bizkit performs "Crack Addict" between these two matches.Pillow FightCatfight Girls VS Stacy Keibler VS Torrie WilsonSomewhat funny but really not much here. No rating because it's not much of a match.World Heavyweight ChampionshipTriple H(c) VS Booker TI love this match. Triple H and Booker T use every move in their arsenal, even using some new moves. Triple H works over Booker's leg most of the match and Booker sells it very well. This match is very well done and you will love it.RATING-9/10Street Fight- 20 Years in the MakingHulk Hogan VS Vince McMahonThis isn't the best street fight ever, not even Vince's best street fight, but it is still really good. There is a really good announcer table spot done by Vince. A lot of blood is shed in this match. There is also an appearance by another WWE legend near the end of the match.RATING-8/10Disc 2Stone Cold Steve Austin VS The Rock(Match of the Night Award)This match is amazing. A lot of brawling like the usual Austin/Rock confrontations. Finishers are used like crazy. What's funny is this isn't even there best match. They had matches at two other Wrestlemania's: WWE WrestleMania XV - The Ragin' Climax and WWE WrestleMania X-Seven.RATING-9.5/10WWE ChampionshipKurt Angle VS Brock LesnarThis is a very good match. Lots of suplexes and finishers. Slow-paced but the match works well that way. The ending is sickening and hard to watch, luckily Lesnar is okay. These two would go on to fight many more matches including their next one-on-one PPV match at WWE SummerSlam 2003.RATING- 8/10Extras Include-Wrestlemania 3rd DegreeThe Road to WrestlemaniaWrestlemania WeekendWorld Tag Team Championship (from Heat)Post Match CommentsWrestlemania RetroWrestlemania FeaturesComments on Hogan VS McMahonWrestlemania Promotional SpotsThe Catfight Girls (Promos)McMahon TrainingGoldberg Returns (Night after WM)

Awesome event
WrestleMaina XIX had the show down of Vince VS Hogan. Smackdown once again proved it was better then Raw on the card as well.Matt Hardy VS Rey Mysterio: Short but a good match.Undertaker VS A-Train and Big Show: Not a bad match but it wasnt his best match. Notice how Undertaker might be 15-0 at WrestleMaina but he has beat some really bad wrestlers.Victoria VS Trish Stratus VS Jazz: Dont careTeam Angle VS Los Guerreros VS Chris Benoit & Rhyno: A very good tag team match.Shawn Michaels VS Chris Jericho: Loved the story going into the match and the match really delivered the goods. One of the best WrestleMaina matches in terms of wrestling go.Limp Bizkit Concert: BIG MISTAKETriple H VS Booker: Its amazing how many careers were ruined by Triple H in 2003. Although Booker and RVD would go on to obtain world title gold a few years later, I still hated how Triple H refused to put talent over.Vince McMahon VS Hulk Hogan: Two of the best showman on the planet. A very entertaining match with a surprise finish. The Rock VS Stone Cold: Third times a charm? Both men would soon depart WWE. Rock hasnt come back and Stone Cold makes appearences on and off.Kurt Angle VS Brock Lesnar: Im glad Smackdown got the main event. Two of the best atheletes in WWE history but on an amazing show. Too bad neither man is still with the company.A very good WrestleMaina with Smackdown once again showing Raw what wrestling was all about. Too bad Raw never took notice or fans for that matter.
