Acetone is fluorescent under ultraviolet light, and acetone vapor may be used as a fluorescent tracer in fluid flow experiments. Acetone is often the primary component in cleaning agents such as nail polish remover. Acetone is a component of superglue remover and it easily removes residues from glass and porcelain. It's a clean machine
Purchased to keep a foam gun clean and functioning, which it's done without issue. I have one tin of proprietary cleaner for emergencies, but this works out at a fraction of the price.
