Still works amazing
I got this at the end of 2021. I got it as a cheap laptop to write/watch shows on, because im a major klutz and didnt want to invest in something super expensive. Last year I got a wfh job that ran on ChromeOS. So I started using it for work.Since then I've dropped it down a flight of stairs, kids spilled a drink on it, it's gotten tossed around a great deal, and it's dented on multiple sides (Don't recommend doing this, it just happened). Still works great. Battery life is as good as ever. Hasn't had any issues whatsoever.Screen quality is what you'd expect for the price point. Speakers get about as loud as a phone would. So that's the only drawback I could see for some people. :)Hope this helps!

Good for me, but Apple-head type simpletons will need a tech assistant
I got a discount deal on this, and am happy with it. However, the transition from Windows and Microsoft is difficult in some ways, and being locked in to ChromeOS can cause frustrations that require nerdy tweaking. So I would not recommend it for people who need a smooth easy learning curve, unless they have someone to set up things for them. For example, there seems to be no way I could directly open LibreOffice files, a format to which I had converted most of my files (word processing, spreadsheet). So I ended up buying a annual subscription to Microsoft 365 basic, which includes enough cloud storage to allow me to cancel my Google cloud storage. This involved converting many files back to Microsoft. But with some more tweaking you can set up Microsoft Onedrive on the Chrome OS system, wich is very convenient with individual license that is included for Microsoft 365 basic.Once all the hassles settled down, I have a comfortable more confident feeling using ChromeOS, more protected from random attacks because of its sandbox app approach, and tight control of Chrome browser running in sandbox. Especially now that I hear Microsoft is starting to charge a fee for security updates (Microsoft Confirms $1.50 Windows Security Update Hotpatch Fee Starts July 1). So in sum, I am dumping Microsoft as an operating system, but coming back with the good deal on individual Microsoft 365 including 100 gig cloud storage.

Great laptop for all purpose on the go!
This laptop is one of the best I've purchased from Amazon. Great value at a reasonable price. I bought it so that I could surf the internet and play video games specifically Casino games around the house and for traveling. It works smoothly and I have no issues with it. I would recommend it to anyone.

Great Little Chromebook but Be Aware of Limitations
I'll start with the Cons:Cons: If you have a community internet system at an apartment or condo that requires a password to access the system, you will not be able to get online without jumping through a lot of hoops. You will need to use another device (smart phone or Windows device) to get the information that explains how to do so, and it is complicated. Buying a Chromebook is for the purpose of simplicity and you won't be able to configure your Chromebook until you get past that hurdle. The other con is that you cannot download the latest version of the Alexa app because it is not compatible with this unit. If your purpose is to control/configure your smart home or other Alexa connected devices, you can't do it with this particular Chromebook. If you want to get a Windows based laptop in the same price range, it will be in "S" mode, which is great; however, you will need to turn off "S" mode to get anything from an app store that is NOT Microsoft and can only use the Edge browser, again, by turning off S mode. There is a simple way to remove "S" mode (which is for security) but once you take it off, you can never put it back on. so be aware.Pros: This is a fine looking, easy to use Chromebook that works as a Chromebook should - fast and easy to understand as long as you don't have the above listed situation. It does not have a touch screen and the screen resolution is okay for the price point. If you need this for a home schooled student or for just a quick way to browse the internet and make online purchases, this item is worth the money. I'm disappointed that it didn't work out for me but in some situations, it will be just fine. I tested the Chromebook on both a community internet system and a private residential system.

Good & fast for my uses
I'm very satisfied with the quality for the price. My black Friday pick was sold out but I've been very happy I chose this. No touchscreen but a good quality keyboard and touchpad make up for it. One little quirk: Google assistant only works when plugged in. That's weird and the only downside I've found.Great quality on my telehealth visits. Video and camera quality were good and smooth. Sound surprising since there are no visible speakers. Construction quality seems substantial. just what I expected from Samsung. Lightweight, sturdy, battery life of 10+ hours makes this unit fine for me so far. My first Chromebook and I was skeptical of them, but so far, for me, the usefulness. performance and speed for the price makes a great value. Can't find anything to complain about. 5 star happy after 6 months of daily use and I don't give 5 stars lightly.
