too simple for tots to open
Our eighteen-month-old saw us use it, and he figured it out straightaway. If it was a little tighter, he would not be able to apply enough force to open it. It still kinda works, though - he doesn't really bother to get it open. Next time we'll look for one where you have to squeeze it to open it - he can't figure that out yet.

Best use as a baby toy (not really), did not last long.
My daughter (at 11 months) figured out how to unlatch these. She also figured out with persistence how to pull them off. I was using them on the toilet in order to keep the lid down and closed. In my experience it's best function was a baby toy.

Baby loves his new chew toy! But it doesn't keep cabinets closed or safe.
Pros:- Easy to install- Clear instructions- Baby loves using strap as a chew toy.Cons- 7 month old figured out how to removed them within one day- He has now figured out how to use the strap to open cabinets more easily- Annoying to relatch when closing cabinets- Does not work properly on lazy susans or drawers- Cover comes off frequently and easily (however it does not break and is easy to relatch)- Looks tacky

Very cheaply made. Feels like a 10 cents item.
Extremely low quality product. After unpacking when we opened one of the flaps, a piece inside broke and fell. Ignoring that, we put it on our cabinet but when we pulled on the cabinet, the safety latch opened!Sorry for this negative review but we were really very disappointed given that the product has such good reviews. And as parents, we already have less time so really rely on the reviews to make decisions to save time. And when such cheaply made products have such high reviews, it makes us wonder.

Worthless.
Worthless. My 11 month was able to pull the drawer open no problem with this latch on it, the latch popped right open! My husband suggested using two latches, and he opened the drawer just as easily; all that was required was a little tug. We tried both vertical and horizontal orientation, which made no difference. Total waste of money.

These couldnt even keep my 1 year old out of stuff. Just an easy pull and they pop open

Very easy for toddlers to figure out and undo. Not great for toilets. But probably good for fridge.

Broke any baby could break these I used them on the toilet and they broke within a week spend more money on your toilet lock:)
