Makita E-00038 Impactx 100 Pc. Driver Bit Set

Great set of bits. Good quality, multiples of most common sizes. Got these on sale for $24, great value at that price. Looks impressive ,easy removal, functional,organized well,great fit. Love those cases.

My travel trailer has several different types of screws. I like to be prepared to do repairs when needed. This kit comes with several assorted bits that should cover everything my trailer has. I have used the kit at my house and it worked well. The bits appear to be well made and good quality. The bits are divided into two plastic cases. I would have preferred one case containing all bits. If the cases could connect to each other that would also be fine. The bits can be a little tough to remove from the holders but not to tough. I prefer using Dewalt tools but i can't complain about Makita brand. I am happy with my purchase.

Let's get this out of the way... if you're reading the reviews you'll know not to use the extension with the 2" power bits. It says that right on the back of the package. I haven't tested it, but most likely you already have an extension you like anyway. So don't use the extension if you're worried but haven't had any small bits get stuck yet and it definitely offers a tighter fit than others. I could definitely see it being an issue, but i already have probably 10+ magnetic extensions lying around. I've been collecting a lot of these impact bits lately from different manufacturers because for some reason impact bits have been having fire sale prices lately and you can never have too many. Bosch, Milwaukee, Dewalt, Kobalt. Most of the others with the black coating were very dissapointing so I was weary. They would chip and cam out pretty quickly causing me to ruin pieces I had precision cut for my needs so I was weary. Dewalt's grey bits were my go-to up until now, but Makita has definitely impressed me way more with this selection. Definitely the most durable black oxide coating of any of the manufacturers, particularly on the 2" power bits. The power bits are particularly impressive and seem to be of a higher quality than the smaller ones. The best part though... it's not a huge selection of bits you won't need! I count a whopping 13 square2 bits, 14 t25 bits, TWENTY TWO standard Phillips bits. Plus multiples of the t20s and ph1's and 3's and other square sizes you might run into. The set is very proportional to how often you'll run into the particular bit you'll need, so you won't find yourself using a t20 to drive t25s because you lost all your damn t25s again. Love this set!

First I'd like to say that this set is an excellent value, and bits are high quality. That said, for a hundred-piece set, there is limited variety. What you will receive is a LOT of #2 Phillips, one bit holder, and one nut driver bit. I would expect more variety from such a large set. Check the listing carefully, and if you are OK with the limited selection, this is a great choice.

I’ve primarily been using DEWALT bits for a decade now, however in the last couple of months using the Makita bits in this kit, I would have gone through 3x as many DEWALT or Milwaukee bits in comparison. Highly durable. Great quality.

Love makita products. I have several of their tools and decided to spend the money on this driver bit set. Only used once so far but they seem solid and you can't be the price.

Two boxes are the best to open/close. I think the design is very durable. I only tried one t25. It is so nice. So easy to use.

Impeccable presentation in 2 separate boxes, the drill bits are really firm and durable, very good, and the screwdrivers in all configurations are a great addition to the set. Very happy with the purchase.

The bits fit and the storage is nice and small and well organized. They are durable.
