Worked for the 4 holes I needed to do (in MDF) but started to burn through it half way through the second hole

I'd bought this for one job, namely cutting the holes to relocate the fixings on an ikea bookcase that I was reducing the width of.For that job it worked extremely well, with the depth stop allowing me to get the holes the same as the original ones.Only downside was the grub screw had cut into the shaft and you could see a groove where the depth stop had ridden up very slightly. Hence the 4 stars.

Does what it says in the ad.Just set the depth tightened with the Alan key provided and bobs your uncle.Went through the wood with ease.So a really good idea and product.

Value for money, I was happy with this product.

Not yet used but does look well made and cutting edge clean and sharp.

The 15mm version is small enough to use with a handheld power drill to make clean holes for cam nuts in IKEA furniture board clamped to a workbench. The depth guide is very useful and can be set using an existing hole or the gauge on the bit, but I did struggle at first to push it on to the lower section which has a slightly bigger diameter than the section that goes into the drill chuck. I only used it for four holes so no idea how long it would last. Plenty of Youtube videos on customising IKEA furniture - I was cutting down a Billy bookcase.

Used to reposition door hinges after washing machine change. I may never use it again but it was well worth it.
