I just received mine. Does it normally have a strong smell to it? First time using it

I wouldn't say strong, but that is relative to how well we smell. It has a citrus smell in the bottle, but never smell it on me once used. It's an awesome product.

why is this titled "united colors of benetton"? Is this not the product in the photo, which is by Unite hair products?

Good question, have no idea and have not ever noticed that before.

Does this product weigh down fine hair?

I have fine hair and it does not weigh it down. It helps hold the curl put into it. I do beach curls and love this product.

I haven't used this product but I can tell you that none of their products weigh down hair. I also have fine hair and use their leave in hair conditioner and mousse. They just help my hair from being fly away.
