Cheaper than anywhere locally. The food is great for the casual dog diner or even picky eaters. The kibble is very small, great for toy breeds, and very gentle on the stomach. Been a long time fan of this company as switching dogs both in my house and others has seen massive health improvements by removing grains from the diet. Overall nutrition is well received by our veterinarian as this is also free of artificial colors and fillers.

The kibble size is perfect for small mouths, and the chicken, sweet potato, and pumpkin recipe must be delicious because she never turns her nose up at it.What I appreciate most is the quality: grain-free, no fillers, and ingredients I feel good about giving her. She consistently preferred the cat's food, which was incredibly frustrating. The small kibbles are ideal for tiny mouths...and she really is so very tiny. She weighs all of 3 pounds soaking wet, and I'm always amazed at her little mouth. I love to watch her when she barks because her little snout looks like it's ready to drink from a drinking straw – so small pieces are so important. She has no trouble eating these bits. They really make it easy for her to chew and swallow.I appreciate that there are no artificial colors or flavors. Maybe it's a small thing, but she is such an unexpected and delightful part of my life. For someone who never thought I would ever be a dog person, she has really become a part of my soul, and I would do anything I possibly can for her. I have 4 dogs, including a 14 year old senior Frenchie. He stopped eating and I was frantic to find something he would eat. Up until it's never been a problem, but due to his age it's vital he stays well nourished as he has medical issues. I feed them fresh chicken and beef with a very expensive and widely known kibble. Nature's Recipe caught my attention as it is completely grain free, no corn, soy or wheat added, no by-products of any kind or colors, preservatives or flavors. I got the Chicken, Sweet Potato and Pumpkin recipe and THEY LOVE IT! Even the Frenchie - he cannot get enough and will even eat it before he goes to bed as a "snack!" I am so delighted and they all seem to be doing exceptionally well two weeks in. I just ordered the bigger bag and wet food. Surprisingly this is less expensive than that other kibble - and my dogs are doing better on it and love it! THANK YOU NATURE'S RECIPE! Wish I had found you sooner!

Was there any change in the product quality recently? I got a package last week and it came small, hard and black compared to what I used to get in the previous months.My dog has refused to eat this. I ordered another package today and got the same issue.Did others notice the same?Now, I will have to try another brand for my dog. 😕
