Rating asks for "toy" references, it's not a toy...This is recommended for those Tamiya cars and trucks - type R/C vehicles.I use this in the Midnight Pumpkin truck.Works so well! the higher the mAh rating, the better.this one is a 3000, lasts a little longer than the older one ever did.Make sure you charge it fully before you use it! (as with any rechargeable)The other nice thing is that this pack is Nickel-Metal-Hydride.So there is no "charge-memory"... Like NiCads have.But you may want to get a charger that is designed to charge NiMH to avaoid shortened life, and damage.

I typically use LiPo batteries, but I have a couple of scale RC boats that I don't really need (or want) the extra punch provided by a 2s LiPo battery.I wanted a bit more run time than the 1200mah battery that came with my most recent boat had, so I ordered this 3000mah Tenergy pack.It charges up to a nice high capacity, and in that scale boat gives me run times of nearly two hours.It's a nice battery for a pretty good price. If you're looking for a NiMH in this capacity range, this one should suit you very well.

The product is a good product... However the only problem I have with it is we also bought a remote control car at the same time we bought this battery. Amazon suggested that the two items were bought together frequently. The battery was not compatiable with the car that we had just bought. The connections were different so we could not use it as a spare battery for the new car that we purchased. We do have some other RC cars that it will fit so it was not a complete waste of money.

I was hesitant to purchase this . However, it was the correct part .good value and it works great!!!!

My son's Radio Shack "CARNIVOR" RC-truck breathes new life! This 3000mAh battery pack works perfectly. Great performance. I highly recommend. Also, the TENERGY UNIVERSAL SMART CHARGER for NiMH/NiCD Battery Packs (which I also purchased) provides the juice to recharge it -- and it has multiple automatic voltage levels; just plug it in, and it "somehow" knows what volt level to re-charge your battery. Great combo.

The batteries worked well for 3 months. Now 1 holds a charge for 2 minutes and the other will not charge at all. Will not buy from again.

The battery is working well in my remote-control truck. The battery gave my truck a renewed life.
