The best potato chips ever!
We love these chips because, unlike most "baked" potato chips that are made from mashed up potatoes extruded into potato chip shapes, these chips are actually slices of potatoes--which means they're very minimally processed. And because they aren't laden with oil, they actually taste like potatoes. Try these, then try any other baked potato "chip" out there. There's just no comparison.These babies are pretty expensive, but we can't eat any other chips now because they all taste artificial or too greasy.

Not for everybody, but I love them.
I love Kettle's Baked (or as they were called until recently "Real Sliced Potatoes") chips. They have very intense potato flavor, and they aren't loaded with oil. They don't taste like other baked chips -- Pringles, Lays, and others. These are real chips that have been baked instead of deep-fried. The only oil on them is a light spray used to keep them from sticking while being cooked, and to hold the salt and other flavorings.They are not admittedly for everyone. The backing process can make them a little hard. And many people associate the flavor of the frying oil to the flavor of potato chips. Since these chips have far less of that flavor, some people don't like them for that reason.

I'm a Type 2 Diabetic and Even I Can Fit These Into My Diet
I am of Irish descent and I live in Idaho so I know good potatoes and I really like these a lot. I love how crispy they are and not too salty tasting so you can really get the potato flavor. I also like that the packages are a perfect serving for me and though they do spike my blood glucose, it's not that much and usually 15 minutes on the treadmill brings it right back into normal levels. I definitely can't say that about other potato chip snacks that I've tried.I eat these several times a week and I'm definitely going to buy more and I wouldn't mind trying the other flavors - so long as they don't have any additives (like maltodextrin) that are unsuitable for diabetics.Definitely one of my favorite purchases lately.

Oustanding Alternative to Regular Chips!
It is ridiculous for anyone comparing the baked chips to regular chips. Regular chips have more flavor and a little better texture. With that said, these chips are outstanding given how much better they are for you. I love chips, but hate the fat and calories. These chips are an outstanding alternative.They seem to be getting harder to buy, I hope they do not stop making them!

TOO Yummy! Dangerous
These are SO tasty. They are ENTIRE potatoes (skin and all)..... not the baked chips they sell in the grocery store that have been dehydrated into flour, then mixed with corn starch or other flour "stretchers" to create a FORMED potatoe chip. ICK! These have a suprising amount of potassium and vitamin C (Mother nature always knows best).These are really crunchy and not salted to death....so you can actually taste the nuttiness of the potato. All natural. Very low in oil. REALLY GOOD. Can stop ordering or eating them. Although I try to control myself.....I end up eating 1/2 bg a day but havent put on a pound since they are so low calorie. Non GMO (gene modified) potatoes used!Suggestion: They really need to make a more user-friendly and eco-friendly bag! Charles Atlas himself couldnt open these bags!

If you like baked potato chips, you can't do better than these
I much prefer baked potato chips to fried and was disappointed when the stores in my area that usually carry them were all out. I found them on Amazon and was pleased that they arrived in perfect condition and in a timely fashion. The chips themselves are flavorful, crisp and delicious. I like that the baked chips don't leave me feeling heavy and bloated, even if I eat more than I intended. They come in several different flavors although the lightly salted are my favorites.

Really Good
I like these chips.....I mean these chips are as basic as it gets..thick slice potato...a small amount of oil and salt. No bells and whistles....just a good old chip. And of course the fat content is way below regular chips. I would give these chips 5 stars but I don't like the price. I bought these in Amazon Warehouse. I do not eat lots of snack foods and I would say a 4 oz bag is worth around $2 at most. I also think another good thing about these chips is they would do well in a bowl of dip....they are not going to crumble....overall a good chip..

Kettle's hickory honey BBQ chips are fantastic! There are a lot of snacks on the market that are supposedly healthier alternatives to their full-fat counterparts, but in my experience, reducing the "bad stuff" usually causes similar reductions in taste and quality. Moreover, in cutting out the fat, almost every snack adds artificial sweeteners, fillers, preservatives, or fat substitutes, nearly all of which can be health concerns for consumers. (For example, any product with sucralose/Splenda in it makes me extremely ill!)However, with Kettle's chips, consumers can easily identify all of the ingredients in the package, and in the baked chips, you can essentially eat an entire bag for about the same amount of fat you'll find in a single serving of most other brands of chips. Even better, the BBQ flavor is really great in these chips, ensuring that your snack is really satisfying and truly filling your cravings. I love the fact that more salty snack options are appearing on the market, and I hope that Kettle continues its trend of producing simple, healthy, and absolutely tasty products. I guarantee that chip lovers will not be disappointed by this yummy offering...
