Great for a beginner
Made this with my 3 year old niece as our first gingerbread house. It was very easy to follow, the only bit I struggled with was smashing the candy up to make the windows so just melted it on low in the microwave and poured into the window gaps. Icing was easy to do, don’t be tempted to add water. Tasted great too!

Great flavour, fun to make
I chose this as many reviews of the pre-made houses said that pieces weee broken. Very glad I did. It was a lot of fun to make and the flavour and texture were both good. It was easy to bake and construct. I will be getting this again.

Great Xmas fun
This was easy to make for my 12 & 14 yo. Tasted lovely too. The only ingredients you need is 160g butter and 1 egg white. A rolling pin. Great fun! And well worth the money for keeping them quiet

Very difficult to make and no ginger taste
The instructions were clear and the ingredients all well set out. However, after baking the parts just wouldn't fit together, and we ended up cutting odd bits off and bodging together with icing so there was no back to the house.The taste was also very disappointing, very bland with no ginger taste at all.We still had good fun putting it together, but thought it very expensive for the price, saw an Asda version for half the price after we ordered!

Second year and still love this one
So ours always ends up a bit messy as star bakers we are not (hence no pic of the house) and my youngest (now 8) does the majority of the decorating but it tastes great and we end up with loads spare to make gingerbread-men and whatever else we have cutters for (stars this year).

Missing items and broken bag of flour
I have used this kit before, its enjoyable to make and tastes good however the smarties were missing from the box and the flour bag had burst open so couldn't be used

Nice gingerbread house
Nice gingerbread house, tasted lovely! Fairly easy to assemble, however the side panels are a touch short compared to the front and back, so the peak of the roof was left open.

Christmas challenge
Easy to follow instruction fbr both baking and assembling. Hardest bit was actually getting the house constructed,, that took a bit of patience but I'm happy with the result .,maybe should have rolled a little thicker as plenty of mix left for extra biscuits which taste really good
