Fantastic must have for the Outback. Be sure you have the plastic clips to assure a tight fit!
Purchased and installed on a 2019 Subaru Outback 3.6R Limited. Since the first day I brought my car home new I was surprised when I tried to open what I thought was a handy change drawer and the door came off in my hand. Even as a access door for the fuse box it fail miserable. I purchased this and it not only provided the handy change drawer I always thought should be there but it was secure in the dash and did not fall off in my hand. Some reviews have claimed the door will not stay shut. There are two little plastic clips that easily fall out. These are required to keep the door closed. If you lost yours google them and get a couple. In my case I still had mine but they needed to be glued in place (simple with a little super glue). Once you do that the door will stay securely shut... and a great place to keep coins or, better yet, a replacement fuse set.

Worth the price
I’m so glad that I found this to fit my vehicle now. I definitely have a go to if anything on this brakes or if I need a replacement I now know where to order bits and pieces for my car definitely worth the money and it is a great purchase.

Subaru Ascent 2022, does not lock closed.
Does not fit a 2022 Subaru Ascent... Well it does, right shape and all, but it does not lock in place and stays open. The snaps are too small and too far back to snap into the closed position.

So easy to install and fit great in my 2016 Subaru Forester. Makes a great hidey-hole for small objects or change & is easily removed to access fuses behind. Even comes with multiple replacement fuse diagram stickers for your particular car make and model! Nice.
