don’t throw your old garments away use this instead
this was a genuine game changer for fixing up a couple pairs of my sweats for the gym. I don’t know if that’s the traditional way to use this kit, but that’s how I used it and it was awesome. Love that it came with a couple pairs of the string threads.

Large cord locks
I made a coat and needed cord locks and elastic cording. The cord locks are a bit bigger than I had anticipated but they work okay. They’re on the inside so they aren’t really seen. The elastic cord is great. I wasn’t sure where to find elastic cording so it was nice to have it included in the set! It worked beautifully in the coat!

Simple easy to replace lacing!

Great shoelace alternative
Rather than go through the pains of teaching kids to tie their shoes, why not replace the laces with elastic and grab yourself another glass of wine. Parenting win!

Great Shockcord !!!
Great product !!!Great size, thickness, for various uses and applications.I used it for winter glove keepers on coats, for a DIY hammock underquilt, and to make some old gym shoes into house shoes or slippers.The stretchability allowed me to use it to make a "net" on the outside of my pack to carry around a windbreaker or hoodie, if the weather got warmer, or have it available if the weather got colder or wetter.The cord locks have worked great, too. Easy to apply and use, even for kids.The color is basic black, so it works with most things.

Keepers don"t keep well
The cord seems ok although very thin so not really good for Sweat pant draw string replacement although I did just that with the cord doubled.As for the Toggles they are spring loaded meant to lock and keep the string taut but they slip too easily to lock a drawstring at the waist however I may have gotten them to work by looping them back thru. So in my case with the double cord I have 4 strings going thru the toggle on each side... so two toggles and they will probably do the job.
