These pairing knives work great, small and spark, great value for your money too

These are the same/similar knives I use to buy at Family Dollar when I lived close to them decades ago. They are cheap for starters, very sharp and you will used them a few months and they get dull you hone them a few times. Some do this before each use. until it eventually stops with the sharp edge then toss it and use the next knife in the package... To hone pull the knife across the steel, maintaining a 15 - 20 degree angle until the tip of the knife meets the tip of the steel. Repeat on the second side. Many have those long narrow long bars with a handle that comes with knife sets with the block. Use this if you have it. Some people use two knives but be careful it is very easy to cut yourself. go slow with it. I bought two packs because I knew how good these would be. You can buy the one pack and use my suggestion above to make them last. I bet you buy them again.

Very sharp but extremely thin knives. Handles are not only thin, but so are the blades which makes them extremely fragile. Two of them snapped in my hand while peeling oranges. I never expected a knife to snap while peeling fruit and the blade could have sliced my finger as it unexpectedly snapped - very unsafe.Both knives snapped at the tang, just inside the plastic body, where the widest part of the blade tapers down.Definitely not worth the risk.

I love small little knives like these for cutting berries and small bits of food. These get the job done but they bend fairly easily and I don’t think they are going to last long unless I’m careful with what I choose to use them for. There are 4 in a pack though so I feel like they are still a good value for the money.

Okay for the price, not as good as pampered chef ones but they’ll do. I seem to use this handy knives often.

Not as sharp as other similar brands, because I purchased several different inexpensive brands to see if there was a difference. Love this style knife for simple tasks like paring fruit, but this brand could not even penetrate a banana peel until I sharpened the blade! No expectation for high quality at this price, but the other brand definitely cuts better.

I have been looking for some of these, they are the best for peeling anything.I would buy again.
