Initially, I gave a one star and an unfair review. That was due to my fault with the ceiling not realizing there was some cleaning that need to be done for residue left on from opening and closing. So to be fair, I wanted to update and say this product is wonderful and the smell does not come out. Just keep in mind you must clean the gasket occasionally.

It's airtight metal, at least according to spec. It seems to be at any rate as the smell is greatly reduced when it's sealed. I got a large because I had 70 grams. The "instruction" card that came with this lists 4 sizes, two of which use the 67 gram Boveda and two of which use the 320 gram Boveda. I am someone who had been using Boveda before this and tossing them into my bags. They helped quite a lot (usually I'd get an ounce and toss it in). Larger amounts recently became available here and I got 70 grams. It said the large of this would only hold 2 ounces, so 56 grams, but the thing I got holds the 70 EASILY. I know the Boveda is "only" meant for 67 grams but it's holding an extra 8% worth so I think it'll be fine. I mean in terms of space: the 70 grams I had fit easily into the LARGE version of this. I didn't want to get a small version because, at least for me, an ounce I can feel fine keeping in the bag for the duration that I have it with a Boevda in the bag, but for 70 grams (2.5 ounces) I needed something a bit better because I'll be taking out of it regularly but don't want this gigantic 70 gram bag that is just unwieldly. So, 70 grams fits in there fine. It seems like it could fit even more than that fairly comfortably, but I'm not sure how much you could push it. I saw the larger ones that actually say they're for like 4 ounces and up, and they were 2x the price as this, so I think unless you have amounts over 2.5 ounces you should stick with this. I would also NOT RECOMMEND the smaller once since its only $4 less and you lose a lot of space. You could get away with putting a 1 ounce Boveda into this if you only had once ounce of bud in there I would bet with no issues. I guess if the SIZE is the issue you might want the smaller one, but the value here seems to be in the LARGE VERSION ON THIS PAGE which costs 4 more than the "small" but like 30 less than the next sizes up. Just got it, had it for a day. But it really is airtight as far as I can tell and it is of HIGH QULAITY, at least in my opinion. Some of the welds might not be like a welders dream but they're also pretty small holding small things down so, not sure how great they could be. That's about it. I'd give it 4.5 if I could just because it seems to pickup fingerprints like crazy but in terms of functionality and easily holding what it's supposed to and more it is a 5.

I bought the 'large' model which comfortably holds about an ounce of flowers. It included 2 Boveda 62% humidi-packs (you use both as they are already pre-activated). It turned my relatively dry pickup into PERFECT status after about a couple of days. I'm very impressed with this relatively small investment. If you care about what you consume, and want to keep it fresh, buy one! I've recommended them to all of my friends who ask about it. Mine also came with a colored decal on the top that has a raised sticker with the same logo. It's black and green and really makes the container have better eye appeal than just the stainless look. The clamps are also very durable; I expect this to last a long time. The 62% packs are supposed to last about 60 days. I've had mine for 45 days and they are still like new and doing their job. I think I'll buy some more of these for Christmas gifts this year! ** UPDATE 2/19/2014 ** Over 5 months since I originally posted this review, and I'm happy to announce it still is holding up like new! I've had to order more 62% Boveda packs from Amazon. The original ones that were included with this lasted for around 8 weeks of regular use (opening container 2-3 times daily, exposing them to outside air). I'm very happy with this CVault!

The products is great it keeps it sealed fresh does the job that's worth the money

Container is nice and air tight. Spot for a Boveda pack size 8 which is good for 1 oz. The container size is a little small and for regular sized bud you will fit about 3/4 oz. If you decide to cut them down a little or fill the space with smaller popcorn buds you can easily pack in an ounce. What is nice is that Boveda packs don’t just emit humidity, but also absorb humidity to keep your buds perfect at 62% rh!

I bought the 1oz sized cvault and couldn’t be happier. I love how the humidity pack suits secure in the lid and how tightly it closes. I did purchase this for pipe tobacco and from my experience you can comfortably hold twice the listed ounces when using tobacco.

I did read reviews on it being "smaller" but was a little difficult to determine actual size comparisons from the seller. with reviews, I just couldn't get a grasp on the true size. I am able to actually fit just over 29 grams in here of smaller buds. Works like magic and I love the premise, just very small overall and in the future I would definitely have to upgrade about 4X the size with my most recent harvest I have so much exrta I couldn't fit... Love the build quality and it truly does keep it at a perfect humidity, plus is just a solid durable tight seal vault I like it a lot! Just the size bums me out isn't what I was expecting. I hope my pictures and video are helpful on determining size as I was in the same boat!
