Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles - The Complete First & Second Season

Was tempted to buy both seasons individually until I came across this region free import. Looks to be the same Warner Brothers discs as released here in the states (even with the terrible Dolby Digital soundtrack) with special features and all. This is one cool show (its no Firefly) that was canned before its time. Lots of action (chicks kicking ass is always cool) with Lena Headey (300, Dredd) and the beautiful Summer Glau (Firefly, Serenity) as the female leads that I am glad they picked these two to play these roles. Once again, too bad it didn't last. Fox was tough on this show and not giving it time (like 24) to build its audience (before this, Fox canned Firefly even faster!).Even for a show that was short lived Warner has really put together a very nice blu ray package full of good special features.The video looks much better in 1080p (instead of the old 720p Fox broadcasts in) and the 5.1 surround sound is disappointing. It is the old Dolby Digital from the early DVD years (not sure of the bit rate) but I am sure an awesome action/sci-fi show like this would sound really agressive in a lossless soundtrack (DTS-HD or Dolby Tru HD). But as is, its better than 2.0 channel (but you have to crank it up to benefit from the surround sound).This UK set is an amazing find if you want both seasons packages together (each season comes in two separate slip cases that slide into an outside box) and willing to spend a few dollars more than buying individually.I am glad I did, so I don't have to search for the seasons when they are already together in one package.

Very good quality BD's. Played flawlessly in both my Xbox consoles & US Bluray player. Decent amount of commentary for every episode made, for those that enjoy it. Very much worth the purchase price.

I really enjoyed following this storyline and was such a fan of the characters. So it was incredibly frustrating when it was announced that this series was cancelled after two seasons. So disappointing!

This region-free collection of season 1 and 2 actually comes out (at the time of this writing) to be a few bucks more expensive than buying the individual seasons, but I love the artwork on this box set so much that it was worth it to me. This show had so much potential - like Joss Whedon's Dollhouse that ran at the same time - but was unfortunately cancelled before it got much footing (also like Dollhouse). There are many reviews available for the show itself - this is just for the box set. The "box" is a simple and fairly cheap-feeling cardboard, but is highly glossy and the metallic print on it has a very cool look. The artwork is much better, in my opinion, but that's entirely personal. The quality of the video is outstanding, as you'd expect for a modern television show printed on blu.And, most importantly, these discs are region-free, meaning they will work FINE on a US blu ray player or PS3.This set it definitely worth buying if you're the type to prefer a nice, matching box set for television shows.

It is a really good storyline it fills in a lot of the blanks from the six Terminator movies and it has tons of action tons of drama this is one of the best series I have ever bought if you like Terminator or Star Trek or other side fives you will like this series it is actually better than the movies excellent well worth the money definitely definitely I would recommend it in fact I have Already told a ton of people to buy it it is great
