Honda CRV Door Lock Actuator
The part was very good, I only needed to transfer two parts from the original part: a cover and a rod. The rod was a little fiddly to remove and if you want to make your life easier you should look for a door lock actuator that includes that rod that connects to the door handle.

Relatively ease replacement for your typical DIYer. Probably can be done in under 45 minutes.
Requires transferring latch release and cables and cover over to new part once you remove it from the door. Reused phillips flat head screws. I would recommend replacing the rod next time around, since it appears to be wearing down.

This just works
I had the annoying sound of grinding gears coming from my rear CRV door. This product easily replaced the old door, works well with the unlocking mechanisms of the car, and generally I am satisfied with the product. Lots of YT videos to help, getting the screws out of the lock mechanism was the hardest part for me.CONS - the vertical bar that slid into the door, the one you'll have to transfer over to the new actuator, is held in by a small nylon piece that is shaped differently than the original. In fumbling with the actuator to get it into place, the whole bar fell off and lodged itself at the bottom of my door (due to the nyloon piece not holding it on properly). After fishing the bar out and re-attaching it, I was more careful the second time installing it and have had no issues in the weeks since. Small CON not worth taking off a star, just use caution.PROS - it works; no more sounds; easy to replace

Fixed my noise issue. Not the same feel as my OEM.
This works for me.- This definite resolved my noisy actuator problem. - It does not come with the rod that hooks to the door handle. I had to figure out how to move the rod from my busted actuator module to this one. If I had to do it all over again, I'd buy one with a new rod pre-attached to the module, just like the ones used by a Youtuber video that I watched for fixing my door.- I can't say it feels exactly the same as the OEM part. Closing the door feels the same... sound and secure as OEM part. However, when opening the door, the latch release makes a mechanical pop that gives a feel as if the door will fall off. The old OEM part gives a smoother mechanical pop. Of course, the door does not fall off and it is secure; I just don't know how to best describe this strange sensation.

Worked as advertised
Pulled the failed OEM unit out of the door and put this unit in.First week in no fuss or issue.Note the window track will be in your way during install. Be ready to do a little dance to get the old one out and the new one in. Otherwise very straight forward instal.
