These do exactly what you want, and they are GREAT at it. Read below!
Ok, first of all, these DO work with Disney pins. I have no idea what other reviewers are talking about when they say these don't work with Disney pins. I decided to bite the bullet and buy them anyway and I'm totally glad I did because they lock on so tight they feel like the locking backs that require the alan key, but if you pull them the right way they come right off. Honestly, these are an incredible invention. I've used these on enamel pins from Disney, as well as various other pins purchased in brick-and-mortar stores and around the internet and they work flawlessly with all of them. - I have never had one get stuck - I have never had one not fit on a normal enamel pin from any brand - They hold so tight, that if you could somehow only grip the base of it and avoid the small lip/cap that releases it, I believe you could tie a string to it and HANG OFF OF IT. I have a large collection of pins and I have both the screw-locking backs that require an alan key to tighten a set screw, as well as these quick-locking backs. I still use the screw-locking backs for pins that I have permanently affixed to backpacks, my pin trading bag, etc. At some level, those ones are stronger than these, while I'm pretty sure that the level at which there is a difference is far beyond the need of an enamel pin, I already had the screw-locking backs and I'm a nerd so I use them anyway for this case. BUT I would totally trust these in the same situation with all of my best pins. I use these for pins that I want to be sure to protect, but in places where I may swap them out more often because it's so easy to do. Since there seem to be a number of people that can't operate these properly I will also tell you how to use them, even though that information is readily available literally everywhere on the product page. Step 1: Push the back onto the pin Step 2: Do nothing else because it's locked on unless the pin back itself is defective but its a 100-pack so throw it away and grab another one. to remove: Step 1: Pull it off. Yes just pull on it. The end of the pin back that is opposite the hole has a raised disc where the diameter of said disc is larger than the shaft of the rest of the pin back so it's almost impossible to pull on it the wrong way. I cannot understand for the life of me how anyone is having a problem with this but for me they have been absolutely amazing and they're so cheap I've given handfuls of them to fellow pin collectors. 5 stars!

Best Pin Backs
These pin backs are amazing. I use these on the daily for my name badge and other pins. I love that they lock in place and don't slip off. They are super sturdy. They don't stick out to far. I just recently bought more and will continue to buy more as needed. Highly recommend if you need/want great quality pin backs.

Truly locking—your pins are safe!
These locking pin backs are STRONG. I collect enamel pins for my camera backpack, which gets bumped and jostled a lot. Without these pin backs, the pins fell off if they were bumped the right way. But with them, the pins stay in place. The pin will break before the back comes undone—one of my pins actually did break, and the needle stayed in the backpack with the locking back. I’m not at all upset that the pin broke, because if I hadn’t had the backs on, the pin would have slid out of the backpack and been lost anyway. These pin backs are perfect for what I needed them for, but they can be a little difficult to remove. If I ever need to rearrange my pins, some of the backs stick pretty badly. I wouldn’t recommend the locking backs for something you plan on removing often, unless you have plenty of time to fight with the pin. Yes, it can be annoying in the moment that the pin back won’t come off, but ultimately it’s preferable to a weak locking back that could slide off and make me lose my pins. However, this issue seems to depend on the individual pin back—some of them are easy to remove, and some of them are more difficult. Either way, backs do their job well, and I haven’t had a single one fall off of the pin.

Perfect fit my application!
Nothing exotic here, a locking pin backer. The turtle back style kept popping off from rubbing against materials, but this seems to lock firmly in place and hold. 👌 Down side: If the material the pin passes through is too thick... You could encounter an issue with getting it to lock.

Strong pin backs, some defective
These backs don't let go when in place and have a slightly smaller profile than the cheap rubber backs most pins come with now. While most are easy enough to remove (you need both hands, btw), some require putting some muscle into unlocking them. Of the 17 I used so far, one didn't work due to the parts being misaligned and two had the tops you pull up pop off when trying to unlock them, leaving the rest stuck on the pins. While I was able to pop them back in place and remove the backs entirely, I didn't feel comfortable using them again. Overall, I'd recommend these, just make sure to buy more than you need.

Works great!
Easy to get on and off on purpose, but I haven't lost ANY pins or backs since I switched to these. Not needing an allen wrench is a HUGE plus! Excellent value.

Keeps pins secure.
They work as they should, and keep pins secure. They are easy to remove but judging by the reviews many can't do it which proves they are secure. You just push the bottom down and pull the top up and it comes out. Haven't lost any pins with it. Bonus it works with my nametag at work.

No lost pins
Love these locks. I have pins galore and the basic cap backs they give always fall off. These baby's lock them right in place. There solid, perfect length, smooth, tight lock. Security on point.
