While simplified, still brilliant
This is my 2nd favorite Criminal Delights book so far. The hook was relatively easy to see, and there were some plot points that were dropped, but I loved the story itself. Insane Max, Psychiatrist Nathaniel, Chief Inspector Gen, and masochist Wyatt. The good:The concept was fantastic. I loved the different portrayals of insanity from our sadist Max, to an overworked and abused as a child therapist, to a policewoman who has her own type of insanity... not to mention our resident masochist. But even beyond our four main characters. there are a load of subcharacters who were not right in the head. The bad:There were several scene mistakes that burst me out of the story: For instance, Wyatt was moved into a different room at the hospital. We were clearly told there were no chairs or sheets in this room. And yet, in the next scene, Gen takes a seat in a chair and in a few scenes later, a character uses the sheet for something. The worst was at the last when there was an entire paragraph that felt completely out of place, as though it had been written and then something else was added to it before and they forgot to remove this particular paragraph. Major mistake. But even with the mistakes, it encompassed a truly dark MM tale. Two men for which there are no redeeming qualities, and yet... you can't help but like them and root for them to get away with what they're doing.

Give me blood, give me darkness, give me delight
I pre-ordered this and been waiting for it to come out, and it did not disappoint me in the slightest.Even as I could picture some of the premise early on it didn't take anything away from it, it just built on what was happening. And each time I thought I had figured out which way it would turn, I was wrong and it took a left turn.Throughout the book I couldn't help but love our Wyatt, his absolute submission to Max is a sight to behold. He lives and breathes his Master, though he have claws and can handle himself alone, but he doesn't want it or crave it.Possibly because how long he's been groomed, but he is an adorable puppy which Max loves in his own way.Nathaniel's is another interesting character even though he is originally showed as rather bland at first though kind and compassionate to his patients. His meeting with Wyatt is something I liked, having such care for the needy puppy and his reactions to the not so innocent approach.I liked the darkness of this book. Because it's dark, bloody and lacking of lube. So be warned if you get triggered, this will most likely do it.

Twisted and morbid thriller
I knew this was a dark book involving criminals but holy cow, I didn’t expect that. It was fantastic. This is a book full of DARK elements including murder, blood, guts, rough MM sex with BDSM. It’s twisted but it is an amazing dark read.We get to follow a portion of this serial killer’s spree from differing POVs which was probably my favorite part of this book. Seeing the investigation from the POVs of the serial killer, the devoted submissive, the psychologist, and the inspector all invoked different feelings to me as a reader and I found my loyalties swaying with every chapter. In one chapter, I was hoping Max would fulfill his next hit while hoping the inspector gets the lead she needs in the next.I love Scarlett and Tiegan’s co-writes and I’m kind of disappointedly myself for waiting so long to read this one.

WOW
There is a cat and mouse game being played between a serial killer, a psychotherapist, a cop and an overly excited submissive boy. All I can say of the plot is that it’s an amazing and well rounded story that leaves no stones left unturned. Only the Devil Knows is a suspense that leaves you guessing.Trigger warning!! There are very graphic murders and a lot of very rough BDSM scenes.

4.5 Amazingly Creepy stars
So far this series is off the chain. Book One takes you down the slippery slope that is the criminally insane and Book Two has you on the cray cray coaster. Now Book Three, Wow what a ride these ladies gave us.You don't see the twist until it's too late and you're just blown away. I really hope the other 14 books in this Criminal Delights series is just as cray cray, mind blowing and devilishly creepy as the first three. Nice read ladies!!

Well, that was a wild ride.
This one was dark and twisted. Jekyll and Hyde meets The Ripper who creates one of a kind masterpieces. This story was a beautiful piece of art though. I could feel what fueled Max and Wyatt. I loved their sick version of a D/s relationship. These authors really showcased the crazy inside these characters. I know in my mind I should hate them, but the way they were brought to life was so erotic and thrilling, that I just found myself rooting for them in the end. Very good addition to this series.

A truly dark and devilish delve into the psyche of a serial killer…
Only the Devil Knows – Serial Killers (Criminal Delights book 3) Katze Snow and Tiegan ClyneThis stand-alone book is dark, very dark. One of the darkest I have read for some time. From the opening scene in the very first chapter, we are given a window into what is clearly the mind of a serial killer with a singular purpose. To make beautifully macabre art. So, if you are ok to proceed from there, then I suggest you brace yourself. The grittiness and dark harshness of these interludes does not abate for the entire length of the story. This grisly and brutal telling is done through multiple POV and this gives a good balance and structure to the plot. Some scenes will be difficult to read. Continue dear reader. You will be given an insight into the mind of not only a serial killer with serious psychosis, but also into the minds of those around him.Warning: There is a fair amount of very rough, consensual MM BDSM sex where the heat steams up from the pages. This is a truly dark narrative. There are also very descriptive scenes of brutality resulting in death. If you are triggered by any of these subjects, put this book down and find something light and fluffy to read in the romance section, this book is not for you.I think it’s an extraordinary telling into the working of a mind that is truly disturbed. I gave it four stars.

Intriguing
Woah I really freaking enjoyed reading this story.Only The Devil Knows is a dark, twisted, violent and disturbing (but in the best possible way) tale. There are some twists and turns I didn’t see coming but once that happened I thought about the clues that were there and it all made sense. This book is seriously good, and if you like a MM dom/sub relationship, violence, plenty of dark elements and a bit of horror this is definitely the one for you.I am seriously hoping that there will be more books so we can see more of Max and Wyatt.

The darkness within
This book is not for the faint hearted. It is well written and totally unpredictable. There is blood and violence and it takes you deep into the mind of a serial killer. You know you've come across a great author when they make the bad guy so likeable!

All the love & kudos (n’ trigger warnings) for this demented psychological thriller.
Bravo authors for a no-holds barred read; this right here is how you do dark and twisted with flair! While it’s not the most shocking book I’ve read, I did find it both riveting and sickening in equal measures, and I loved that the authors didn’t shy away from the depravity of the narrative, but instead seemed to take great joy in revelling in it ;) . I’m somewhat of a junkie when it comes to darker m/m tales, always looking for my next fix, but I often find that I’m left a little disappointed by book blurbs that claim much yet fail to deliver by ultimately dumbing down or even entirely skipping the truly gut-churning stuff, so it thrills me when a book nails the sub-genre in every way. It’s a wickedly disturbing read, and so depraved it really shouldn’t be considered at all erotic (and yet…). But it’s equally clever and complex and with brilliantly black-hearted characters in Max and Wyatt. The authors don’t play to stereotypes, the leads aren’t misunderstood anti-heroes avenging anyone or righting wrongs, they’re not likeable or sympathetic in the least, and in fact together they take cruelty to new levels as they mercilessly rape, torture and murder young men all in the name of art. It’s impossible to speak in any great depth about sadist, Max/The Whipper, without revealing all – I wouldn’t necessarily call it a twist, as I believe the authors intended us to know of his particular brand of crazy from the off, and if not? then I spotted it almost straight away – but it’s suffice to say that he’s nothing if not multifaceted, while his masochistic young sub and protégé, Wyatt, is easily one of the most lost to brainwashing and Stockholm Syndrome cases that I’ve ever come across. There’s not a huge amount of backstory, but enough to give an understanding of the respective traumas that helped shape these monsters and their motivations. Again, I can’t sympathise or condone their blood-lust, but in the oddest of ways, I could almost understand their distorted interpretation of love for one another.A heads up, this is for those of us who really love it not just dark but pitch bloody black, as there’s no retribution or ray of hope here. Alas, if the bad guy getting his just deserts is a must for you, you’ll be bitterly disappointed. And while it would’ve been cleaner to rid the world of these two maniacs, I appreciated that the narrative didn’t take the predictable route, but instead ended with the promise of way more misery to follow.Unsurprisingly, there’s a myriad of triggers. Expect biting, choking, face-slapping/punching, orgasm denial, hate-f’ing, blood as lube, lots of blood, so much blood, objectification, derogatory name-calling, slight feminisation of boy bits, auto-erotic asphyxiation..phew!..and that’s just the consensual stuff. Adjacent to this there’s abduction, drugging, flaying, impaling…you get the picture…so if any of this curdles the blood, walk away now and save yourself a coronary. As for me? I never wanted it to end. In fact, I’d LOVE a follow-up book…hint much.

Good
This is my first book from both authors . I enjoyed the twists and turns even though I guessed who the Whipper was early on it still didn’t spoil the book for me .
