You'll never wear a smarter rain jacket. The Rain Logic is completely waterproof, fully seam sealed and breathable so you can stay dry and active without overheating. Constructed with 2.5 layers: a lightweight face fabric to block water, a polyurethane laminate to block wind and a protective inner sheen for abrasion-resistance and durability. It features an advanced internal eight-pocket travel system and packs into its own hood, so throw it in your bag and be ready for weather in every language.

All around great outer layer
My gf loved this jacket. So far its only been tested with some light rains but with a record rainy season on the way it will get a workout soon enough. (And i will update accordingly.) So far its breathable, fits well, and is able to stretch as needed. The stretch helps. It has ample pockets (maybe too many?) and is fairly light weight. It doesnt fold into its own pocket, which is all the rage now, but does roll into its hood like a lot of shell type outer layers. Its a great jacket, especially if you can get it on sale. As far as a black coat with no fun accents can be stylish it is.As a technical jacket I would have liked to have seen some pockets removed and maybe the under arm vents switched to velcro. This jacket has something like 9 pockets, which is about 4 too many. Still it does soo many things right. Flattering fit (my gf is 5'4, curvy but in shape and the small fits like a charm). The seems are sealed. The zippers are water proofed. The hood (its head sized btw) has a draw sting and the high collar even has fleece lining. It packs down pretty tight and weighs in under a pound (13oz if you care.) So far its held up well.Highly Recommended

Simply beautiful !
I had been looking for a very long time for this jacket. I read about it in the Sunday edition Sentinel in Orlando. When I saw that Amazon had it. I immediately send for it. It came three days later very well packed but it did not fit my size and I had to returned it. But it I think it is designed for a younger generation. The cut is beautiful. It has all kind of pockets , one for the cell phone, one for the keys and another one for the passport etc. The material well is made. really it was with sadness that I returned it. But the product i so well made and designed and worth the price.

Great product
I bought the men's version of this jacket for my husband last year, and got this one for me prior to a trip. It was just right - layered for a full range of temperatures it was very versatile. It packs into its own pocket but wrinkles shake out easily, which is great for airplane travel. The multitude of pockets were very handy - though I do suggest figuring out a system to keep track of what belongs in what pocket. Construction quality and fabric are both very good and what one would expect from ExOfficio. The fabric is soft and the seams are well finished, with no scratchy places. The fit is very flattering, with the back slightly longer than the front. There is adequate room for layering, and handy pit zips for when it gets warmer. The only quibble is that the pocket and velcro to roll up the hood could have been better designed: the tabs to hold the hood in place are too short at the ends, and the velcro wrap to keep it rolled up had an annoying tendency to catch my hair.

Not the same style as earlier Rainlogics
Ì just purchased this to expand my Rainlogic collection (I have both the jacket and trench) because they are fabulous. However, this is not the same style as my others and not sure if I will keep it or not. It is not as streamlined or tailored. Instead of a tapered turn back cuff option, on-seam exterior zip pockets, and discreet velcro closures at the cuff and top/bottom of the main zipper, this newer style is sportier with a straight snap cuff (no turn back option), flap pockets with decorative snaps and more decorative snaps at top/bottom of main zipper. Overall, it is less classic than the previous style. The Marina color is nice.

Even without additional layers it looks very nice and has a somewhat tailored look
I wanted to purchase a jacket that I could layer under. Base, shirt & down vest so I purchased a size large. I normally wear a medium and the large was too big even with the layering so I returned it for a medium. The medium fit perfectly. Even without additional layers it looks very nice and has a somewhat tailored look. Not the bunchy boxy look that many rain jackets have. It rolls up into its hood and fits nicely in my day pack. So far I've been very happy with the jacket.

This is a perfect all purpose raincoat
This is a perfect all purpose raincoat. It's light, packable, has pit zips, great hood and zipper. I've been searching for a great travel raincoat to replace my Marmot. This is much more flattering and fits much better than the Marmot. The numerous inside pockets are a delightful plus.

Needs More and Bigger inside Pockets
This is second ExOfficio Rain Jacket that I have purchased. I like having all the extra inside pockets for security and convenience for traveling and hiking. This jacket, however, does not have a many pockets or the size of pockets that my first jacket has. I wish the photos on the website would show all the pockets that are in these jackets, since they vary between styles. I kept it anyway since it is waterproof with a hood, which my other jacket is not.

Bought this jacket for my 3 week trip to Europe and it was perfect. I was able to carry on me everything I needed (passports, sunglasses, camera etc.) The material kept me warm and dry when it rained and cool on hot and sunny days. It was an amazing purchase.
