So since I actually read the description I will say this.Pros: It came fast in shipping. It heats up very fast.Cons: The handle you have to push down to clamp the flat iron shut which makes it a little bit difficult. The outer part of the flat iron gets very hot probably as much as the flat iron itself so forewarning do not touch that end of it.All in all didn't really straighten my hair as good as my remington flat iron but it still straightened it. But I didn't expect a miracle with 30 dollars either it gets most of the job done but my remington one can finish what this one does not get. Either way I rated it a 4 out of 5 because while it's difficult to maneuver it does straighten the hair to a certain extent,it is cheaper,and it did come fast in the mail.I would definitely recommend using a heat protectant spray (as you should already be doing with a flat iron anyways) But definitely try not to touch the outer part of the flat iron since that does get very hot as well though it says on it "watch for heat" so I give them at least credit for the forewarning.

Ok, I was skeptical because of some of the reviews, but it was in my budget & I've bought things with bad reviews before & was surprised.Personally I think its "good" "enough". I've been using this for awhile on wet hair. I agree the vents are cosmetic lol steam releases from the sides which has been my experience with other wet to dry irons, so no points lose there.Its slow to heat up but once its going it does the job. Its highest setting is low enough so you cant accidentally fry your hair if you're unfamiliar with wet to dry irons.I've been using for awhile and its still my go to.

I was surprised that this flat iron really does what it says… It straightened my hair in one pass versus three passes with the chi that I had. So I am very happy with that! I gave it four stars because it’s a bit difficult to hold and clamp all the way with the one hand with the scissor handle, Maybe that will improve in time with practice!

Feels very cheap and light. For in order to get one string completely flat I have to pass it more than 3 to 4 times. Won’t recommend or purchase again.

This might be great for thin hair, or slightly wavy. But I have very thick, and very curly hair. I tried to use it once, and it kept snagging my hair, and wouldn't get my curls straight.

I have naturally curly hair and it is difficult to straighten. This flat iron allowed me to adjust the setting to the temp that would straighten it. There was no burning smell like other flat irons. Definitely recommend!

This is pretty much h like any hot iron. Nothing extra special. No steam comes from it, and the vents seem to be mostly for decoration. Does not seem to get as hot as my other irons. The handle is awkward. Only good thing is that it doesn’t break off my hair like other irons do, and I like how flat and light weight it is. Other than that, it’s nothing special. Kinda disappointed. Wish I read reviews before ordering.
