Worked Perfect

As mentioned from my headline, I used this to get a piece of metal from my garbage disposal when someone dropped a bolt inside of it. It was too risky to put my hand in there. After all, it could start unexpectantly. One never knows. Safety first is what I believe. Anyways, I know that most auto mechanics uses these to get metal parts from hard to reach places where they had dropped a bold or something similar in a hard-to-reach place. The magnet on the end is very strong, in my opinion. Mechanics know how valuable these are for the above mentioned purposes. If you have a similar purpose such as I did or a mechanic, maybe try buying one from Amazon or go to your local auto parts store/big box retailer such as Home Depot/Lowe's to pick one up directly....j.s.

I have a 2012 Prius that if a part falls in the engine area it disappears and hard to find, I dropped the rear stud for the egr cooler and after looking and feeling all over for it, I finally fished around with the long flexible magnet and suddenly I heard something fall and hit a metal exhaust shielding, the flexible part of the magnet knocked the stud off of wherever it was hiding so I could get the Egr valve bolted back together. The telescoping magnet has a sleeve that goes over the magnet that slides off easily and won`t stay put.

Most of the picks I bought in the pas were very fragile. This one looks study since it is thick it might be difficult to take it to some very tight spaces but overall it does it job.

It's one of those tools you need to have. But don't realize it until you need one.

This is a sturdy magnet. It is slightly bigger than I thought it would be but that's okay. I needed something to put in my car that would retrieve my car fob (with metal whistle attached) that I insist on dropping between the seats on a routine basis.I have a 2018 Toyota Camry and this car has a box underneath the drivers seat that has one side open. Once my keys find their way inside this cave, no one can retreive them without using one of these flexible magnets.These things have all kinds of uses so retreiving car fobs isn't it's only job. Keep one around the house and you'll use it. Recommended.

This is a good little tool for what I paid. I use mine to get loose particles out of motorcycle fuel tanks, this one is flexible and does what I need it to do. Quality is good. Magnet is strong enough for my needs.
