Rain just sheets off - Very Warm
I really like this head cover. The material is thick however it's still light weight. It allows rain to just sheet off instead of soaking in. The nose area has a breathing panel so it doesn't feel stuffy inside. The head cover can be pulled down if you just need to cover the lower part of your face. Amazon had a deal going so I got this one for a great price. Now my wife wants one for when we ride our UTV in cold weather.

From the Perspective of a Glasses Wearer #3
Sirek BalaclavaThis balaclava is heavy weight. I have 7 1/4 head and it fits fairly well, a bit roomy, but well. I Live in Northeastern Minnesota ~ 20 miles from Canadian border and my nose and lower portion of my face has taken a beating in the winter, where -40° temperatures are not uncommon, mostly due to being a glasses wearer, and fogging issues with said glasses.Took for a test walk, 2.5 miles at -2° with -20 windchill. As I am hair impaired, I wore another hat over the top of the balaclava to really seal things up. Tucked the balaclava under my coat, put on a pair of goggles and took off. Was adequate in preventing my glasses from fogging, but the goggles fogged a bit. This could be remedied by tightening goggles a bit more. The problem with active movement and this balaclava is with the bottom of it tuck into ones coat, warm moist air cannot escape and things become clammy fast. This could prove dicey if one becomes wet in very cold weather and then has to become still/stop moving. Yet, this could be an advantage sitting in a deer stand as warm air from exhaling, while at rest, might provide warmth, but will ones glasses fog? While walking, it felt as though I had a bellows about my throat every time I inhaled and exhaled. As this balaclava does not breatheI would not recommend it for exercise, in particular while using the face cover portion.Snowmobile: glasses fog almost immediately. No go here with face/nose covered. If I fold the face shield portion down, it works pretty well in maintaining warmth in the helmet, yet, I must still keep the helmet shield up a crack to prevent glasses from fogging. The snowmobile will be my go to use for this particular balaclava.

Ski Mask that keeps you warm and comfy all in one
The media could not be loaded. This Ski Mask from Sireck does a great job with keeping your head, face, ears, and neck, very warm. My only gripe would be it likes to move over your eyes as you move your head around. I am sure if you use ski goggles that this would easily keep the mask in place. This certainly does the job of keeping you warm, and I find that it fits rather well, and I have a large head. Taking the mask off is simple and straight forward.

Too loose
If you have a smaller sized head do not buy. This thing was way too loose. I tried it with and without the helmet. Without the helmet the top blew back and the face cover did not protect from cold or wind. With helmet it was good. The temp was around 45 and I ride a motorcycle.

I've got a big head and it fit me well. I do wish they would make it in orange for hunting.
