I’m using this on my Fuji X100S and I really like it compared to the regular shutter. I feel in much more control of the click and it actually feels like I’m pushing something. It has slipped off, or come loose a couple of times, but I do remove it to use my cable release so I imagine it would hold better if you screwed it in once and left it alone.I also bought a leather strap with a red stitch, so it’s a nice little pop of colour as well to an already pretty camera.

I like the feel of this piece on my Fuji x-e2. Thankfully they included a spare. They unscrew pretty easily. I lost the first one two months later then lost the second another two months later. They should include a gasket of some sort to help keep tension on the threads.

Tried multiple "red" soft release buttons. Not one was the right color for me. Either "brick red" or "orangey red" . This one is truly a rich dark metallic red. I may not have the right terminology for this red, but I knew when I saw it that it was what I was searching for. Nicely made, with rubber gaskets. We have an Oster blender in "metallic red" and that is what this soft release button looks like, for what that is worth.

It only stuck on my camera for a couple of hours until it fell off and was lost forever.

It looks nice and feels nice, but It does not stay on/screwed in. It easily comes unscrewed when in a bag. It needs a rubber or silicone washer to provide some friction to prevent it from rotating.

I bought these for my Fujifilm X-E2s. Apart from looking cool, the button makes it a lot easier to fire the shutter and reduces camera shake. Instead of using the tip of my finger to operate the shutter, with this shutter release button fitted, I can use the area under the first joint, which results in more control and less shake. It also makes operating the camera one-handed easier. If needed I can focus and trigger the shutter with my thumb.After reading the reviews I fitted a washer in the hope that doing so would help prevent the release button unscrewing while in use. After a month of use, it has not come loose.The supplied package included two shutter buttons, and a wristband lens focus ring. I would rather they included a couple of washers for the release buttons and sold the wristband separately. Washers I need. Wristband focus rings, I do not.4 Stars because of the lack of the essential washers.Update: After three months the first one came off in the middle of a shoot and I lost it. I added a touch of superglue to the second one and that's stayed in place for over six months, so far.I bought a FujiFilm X-E3, and foolishly I tried a different brand of shutter button, but I wasn't happy with the way the finish marked easily and I didn't like the red enameled color. So I bought another set of these. I've added a couple of pictures of the shutter button on the new camera. I still wish they'd provide washers with these instead of the wristband. I absolutely recommend these, but because they don't come with washers they still only get four stars.

Fits perfectly on my fuji x30 camera. Great alternative to other buttons currently on amazon!

Loved the red color on my Fuji X100s. But, it lasted all of a month before it popped off and who knows where it landed. It doesn't thread in very tightly, hence the lost button. Ah well.....

Fits snugly (on Fuji X30) and looks real cool on an all black camera. Looks much better than the Amazon imageIt is candy apple red with a satin finish. Not too shiny, not too mat.Since I have gotten it, I have been on a trip to Mexico where I put 400 miles of beach, desert, rock climbing with no issues at all.I do not regret getting a convex shape over a concave.Recommended

Came off and lost it right away. Too bad! I wouldn't recommend it.

A nicely finished product, but it suffers from one critical design flaw: the threaded post is not long enough to ensure adequate connection with the shutter release hole, resulting in it falling off all too easily. Tested with three different cameras and all had the exact same problem.
