The VR7 remote that came with the Vizio Blu-Ray player just died on me. All things must pass. This is a virtual copy of the little guy that isn't with us anymore. So, I added batteries, pressed that weird little on off button and it sprang to life and now I can manipulate my Vizio Blu-Ray player again to my hearts content from the couch. Another first world problem solved thanks to Amazon.

This is an exact, original copy of the remote that came with your Visio DVD player. Works as a second device in tandem with the original, or as a replacement for a broken one. A far better value than buying a universal remote that must be coded correctly and even then may not have all the features you want..

Wife was very frustrated with the old DVD player. I tried changing batteries in the remote but the whole time the problem was in the remote select switch itself. Cleaning it didn't help, replacement is well worth the money.

Amazon came through again. The exact same remote control for our Vizio Blue Ray DVD Player as the original, and at an extremely attractive price. I checked it very closely, and it's the very same thing and works the same way as the original remote. Problem solved. I still check around to make sure I'm getting a good deal, but Amazon is the best about 90% of the time.

It was great to find a remote that can operate our player, since the mfg is not making them any more. The buttons are very stiff and hard to press, but hey - it works!

I couldn't believe that I pulled it from the box, added batteries and didn't need to program this remote! If my kids lose another I will not hesitate to purchase this replacement. It works perfectly, is not cheaply made like some remotes, and can withstand my 6 boys and husbands daily use with no problems.
