I tested it, worked great. Installed it. Worked great. A day went by and now it is broken. Was working in DIDI mode, but now, no matter what I set it to, it's always the burglar alarm. There is no help, no support to fix this. It's impossible to contact the manufacturer. Very frustrating; bunch of time wasted. Even if they were to somehow help now, the fact that there is no factory restore button or instructions for a reset is already bad customer service and product development.

We had to purchase an alarm for our back door when we got a pool installed in our back yard. Our county requires all home doors to have an active alarm so if children open the back door to go out to the pool, adults are alerted. This alarm is VERY loud and works great. Even the county inspector that came to the house after the pool installation was done was impressed.The remote is nice because the unit it installed at the top of the door to keep it out of reach of little ones. Easy to install and can be turned on and off depending on whether you have children in your home.

Some people had trouble passing an inspection with these things. We had no problem with the city inspector and the home inspector after we sold the house. If you do have young children and you are worried about them drowning then I would recommend you spend the money on a more expensive alarm because you have to arm these every time you want them to provide protection. It is that fact that maybe caused some people to fail their inspection.

So I had a pool put in over the summer. I was required prior to permit completion, have door alarms installed especially since i have an 8 and 9 year old. installed in 3 minutes and working. Pretty cool. I am thinking about installing them on my office door.

We needed 2 door alarms after installing an inground pool. The ones they recommended were much more expensive and had no off switch?! These went up in a minute, sleek looking, have an off switch (the remote is great) and they were a great price! Pool passed inspection!

My first order was for the patio door when my house was for sale. I had a pool. Left fob on counter with a note to tell buyers how it was a safety feature. Now with second order, it's on my front and back doors of new home. Also, ordered a set for a friend so they felt secure. Great value...

This is not loud at all. They claim 130 db which is why I bought it. I have a 110 db bike alarm that is way louder than this. Waste of time. Sending it back.

No issue with devices other than our final inspection for our pool was denied because these alarms do not meet the requirements in our town. The fact that they can be turned off remotely was an issue. Check with your town ahead of time.
