Wild Grapes, Premium DIY Wine Making Kits, Peach Mist, 6L, Makes Up to 30 Bottles/6 Gallons of Wine

I normally buy the Niagra Mist kits but wasn't able to find peach so I decided to give this a try. The instructions are easy to follow, all the needed ingredients are included and clearly marked and the whole process is pretty painless. It made almost 30 bottles of some crystal clear, great tasting wine.There are a couple of things I do different than the instructions. I add about 3 pounds of sugar at the beginning. It ups the alcohol content just a bit. I also transfer the wine to a clean carboy if there is any sediment at all. In my experience, limited as it is, the wine seems to develop a little bit of a bitter taste if it sits on sediment for very long. In the course of the 30 days I may transfer the wine 4 or 5 times. I think it helps.

The value of this kit, as compared to many others, is very it's selling point to me. In other words, kits that charge 25-50 percent more aren't delivering you anything more than this kit's concentrated grape juice! However, the bare bones packaging keeps costs down. I like it!On a side note, I'm not one for overly sweet wine so a tip I've found which ups the alcohol in the finished while making it more dry and crisp: Ferment half (1/2) the sweeting pack (F-pack) by adding it to the primary. I got my SG up to 1.07 by doing this. If you want to go. even further (or don't want to add extra sugar to your finished wine) then ferment the rest of the F-pack (mine was peach syrup) in the secondary and of Course(!) Before you add the Pmeta and Sorbate!

Quality kit. The flavors are a little weak. I expected more peach taste.

I've used several different brands of wine kits and this one is by far my favorite. Clear easy to follow instructions and the wine is exceptional. Light and crisp , not too sweet. I am very pleased and am ordering another variety.

Always order your products this came with the juice bag completely empty and was everywhere so unable to use

My kit only came with the liquid ingredients, no yeast or other ingredients which I must now order and wait for. Very disappointing to receive an incomplete kit.

These kits are fun and hard to mess up. The ABV is a bit low though, so I add sugar to bump it up to a starting gravity of about 1.090. This should bring the ABV to about 12%. It's easy to drink and my friends and family love it.If you haven't done a kit wine before, make sure you have the equipment (since this is just an ingredient kit), along with some bottles, corks, and sanitizer. Everything else is included - juice, flavoring packet, yeast, finings (bentonite, kieselsol, and chitosan), labels, sorbate/sulfite, and instructions.
