Took a pretty long time to arrive from China (weeks) but it did arrive and looks pretty much exactly like it does in the photos. Its smaller than you think its going to be. Each pocket is about the size of my hand. So you will not be growing anything large or heavy in here. Seems like herbs will do well in it. Make sure not to overwater the things in the top row, as the run-off water drips down to the lower pockets. Potential for water damage if it gets water logged and is being held firmly against a house/fence. Recommend not nailing in the bottom to allow for air flow.

I really wanted to love this. Last year I used an old shoe rack for an herb garden and it worked great! It added a lot to the patio and was a great way to grow some delicious herbs for a city garden. This year I decided to buy this. I should have looked closer to the dimensions but even if I did there's just not enough room between pockets for the plants to grow well. The pocket size also doesn't hold as much soil as they really need to flourish. It's a good quality felt and looks cute before you use it, but the functionality leaves a lot to be desired. Next year I'll go back to the shoe rack unfortunately.
