Pangea Audio RV400 Four Shelf Audio Rack - Black

Looks great and is designed well. There's no wobble to it at all and the MDF shelves are solid. I took one star off because the metal poles were not finished very well on all of them. About 4 out of the 16 had a few scuff marks in the finish. They weren't too bad, but it is noticeable. Luckily, since it was only 4 of them, I just put them in the back and you can't see any of them.There are only 4 screws that go in the top shelf and it comes with an alan wrench for them, so there are no tools required for the install besides that, which is a nice touch. The screws have 4 caps that are supposed to go on top of them, but there is nothing to secure the caps in place and it appears that they are just supposed to sit on top. Not a very thoughtful touch there, but I like the screws just fine so I left the caps off.The badge is in a bag instead of pre-installed since the shelves are 4 identical shelves. It feels kind of cheap to have the badge just thrown in the bag with the screws and other stuff. It's kind of nice having it as an option to put on there, though.Overall a pretty generic product, but well built and it looks fantastic. Plus, my Magnepan Tymapni 1D speakers sound much better without my old, giant entertainment center between them smearing the imaging up, so from that standpoint it's totally worth it.

Great unit! Very quick and easy to assemble. The instructions don't state that it assembles from the top down, but that's not hard to figure out. I assembled from the bottom up-that way I was able to pour steel bird shot in the legs and bottom shelf supports for weight to help with resonance dampening since my turntable is on the top shelf, and fairly close to my subwoofer. Not a single skip with the system turned up very loud. I did cut some 3/16" masonite panels painted flat black to fit the width and height of each shelf with access holes for wiring (I hate to see the wire bundle hanging down), then used black zip ties around the top and bottom of each support leg going through small holes drilled to match the width of the leg. Looks great! Extremely pleased, to say the least...

I needed to have a place to put my receiver, blue ray player, and cable box. The assembly was easy enough for one person to handle. Pay attention to the parts size as you go from the bottom shelf to the top. You will need to tighten all small connections well for sturdiness. When assembled it will stand about 3 ft in height. The packing and delivery were good with no damage upon arrival. I felt for my budget this met my needs and I would definitely purchase again.

Fit and finish could be better (one of the poles had an imperfection that dug into a shelf), and the shelves could be thicker, but the spikes are great on my thick, bouncy carpet, and sand-filling the poles (while tedious) helped greatly with limiting vibrations. Looks nice as well.

This rack is great! Solid as a rock, easy to assemble, easy to level. Got it for my Pro-ject turntable and components. Delighted with the quality and decent sound damping. Really good deal!

attractive shelf unit. pretty easy assembly. just took a little while to make sure everything was really tight. holds all my equipment and feels pretty sturdy. perfect size for a small 2 channel system in my bedroom. pretty happy with this purchase.

This is good for the money. I had to remove bottom shelf and set it on carpeting with spikes protruding through because of my subwoofer. Other than that it worked fine for my stereo system. Looks nice.

Love Pangea products, this thing is easy to assemble, sturdy, looks nice. Well packed too.
