Works with JBL speaker
So far so great! I didn’t think it would hold up my JBL PartyBox but it’s holding up very well. I turned up the volume so I could see if the vibrations would move it and nope it’s secure.

Good for the price.
It works fine, does the job. Nice and light, but not "heavy duty", so it might not have a lot of longevity if you're going to use it a lot. We only use it a few times each year, so it should be ok. The little rubber cap pops off every time we take the speaker down.

A "Medium" Sized Stand; 57-Inch Max Height; 31x31x31 Inch Base
This Pyle PSTND1 is exactly what I wanted -- a "medium" height speaker stand for a very lightweight PA speaker that's about 6-8 lbs. Stand is not too tall. Not too wide of a footprint that people will trip over in a crowded room. I wanted a speaker stand that holds my PA speaker at about head height for smaller rooms. The PSTND! works well. This stands extends to a maximum of 57 inches in height. It's a bit wiggly at full height, but acceptable. Its legs when extended sit on a triangle that's 31 inches x 31 inches x 31 inches. The base footprint can be narrower somewhat if desired -- say around 18x18x18. But it's less stable, of course.Weight is 3 lb 4-1/4 oz (1.494 kg).Folded, the stand is 31-1/2" long and fits into a box that's 5x5 inches. The vertical tube diameter measures 34.54mm (1.360 inches or 1-23/64 inches). The tubing is very thinwall steel. It's magnetic. There is a plastic end plug to keep the end of the tube round. I recommend gluing this plug into the tube with super glue or other adhesive so the plug will not fall out and get lost. The stand comes with a molded plastic plate adapter you can screw to the bottom of your speaker to add a socket. The plate's socket diameter measures 34.51mm (1.359 inches or 1-23/64 inches). The hole pattern is 5-9/16 inch x 3-5/8 inch. The holes are 11/64 in (6.6mm). Overall dimensions are 6-3/4 x 4-1/2 inches. This stand is NOT for your monster 35-lb 15" JBL Eon. It's for smaller, lighter PA speakers.NOTE: the cross-pin holes are a bit rough and cause the center pole to move with some difficulty. If you deburr the holes with a small file or countersink, the center pole will go up and down much easier and smoother.

Poor quality construction
Very disappointed. Support brace to the leg broke the second time I tried to use this stand making it unusable. Waste of money. Could not repair it. I had to throw it away.
