Blue Dragon Deluxe Crystal Puzzle

I've done a handful of these 3d puzzles and I always enjoy them. Just a note, they never come with instructions though you can usually find guides on the internet (apparently) if you need to. This little dragon is by far the most difficult I have come across. I do feel there could be a little direction in where to start since there isnt a clear base as there is in other versions. If you arent sure how to begin, here are some tips: Assemble the limbs, wings, head and tail first. For the wings, make sure you find the smaller puzzle pieces with little pegs sticking out and attach the large wing pieces. Check the head and limb pieces to see how they are intended to fit into the body. If it has a rectangular tab, you can wait until before you screw the body together to attach it. If the tab is L shaped, it needs to be attached while you are assembling the body. This includes the back legs and the head. Since the wings are puzzle pieces, they will also need to be included while you are piecing together the torso. Finally, locate the two front abdominal pieces and the support beam. I started from the tail, but in these style of puzzles its usually easier to start from the end of the support beam with the round socket end, in this case, the chest, so I (possibly) went about it the wrong way. If you have a weak grip strength or you cant clamp your hand/fingers together for long periods of time you might struggle with this model. In that case, I would recommend one of the carousels to you instead since it is able to stand freely while you work. Despite the difficulty I do think the final product is very cool looking and is rewarding to finish :3 good luck!

Design looks great when done. Fun and a little hard to assemble but that's why you buy puzzles for the fun. All pieces were there. somewhat strong but don't throw it.

My daughter earned this for her grades. After she put it together, we found out that the wings moved! This 3D dragon puzzle is so cool. I couldn't be happier with this purchase.

Didn’t come with instructions. Had to look it up on YouTube. Got this for a 11 year. He loved it

It was a tricky thing to put together at certain parts of the build, for sure. The puzzle parts between the main body and the end tail section did not want to stay together and fell apart on me several times, but I took a break and came back to it the next day. Once I got it all assembled and screwed in the lock pin, it all stayed together very solidly and closed a couple gaps I wasn't sure were right. A wonderful puzzle experience overall for those "aha!" moments and it now shares a spot in the cabinet with my other treasured display items I don't want to get dusty. ^_^

Flimsy box. Came without any instructions. Luckily you can find useful hints from YouTube. Still very painful to find every piece and put them together. They don’t hold until the end. Dropped some pieces in the middle of the process and had to start over. Waste my time.

Exactly as I hoped! Took me about 2 hours to finish.
