Use it for Everything in Tiny Home
I have a tiny home and I use Reflectix everywhere! It's an added bit of insulation lining storage spaces. It's R-21 if you use it in two layers in your crawl space. It was perfect for lining the screen door of my the door that needs replacing and I used it to make window coverings that keep the hot sun out in summer and the cold air out in winter. To use as an insulated window covering, simply use spray adhesive on the Reflectix and the back side of your chosen fabric. Let it tack up and apply the fabric to the Reflectix. Cut to size and hot glue a ribbon or double wide bias tape around the edge. It will roll up if your window are large enough--mine are small so I just take it up and down with velcro.

Works great so far
Works great so far. Hasn't gotten real hot here in NC yet. I left one square open to test out the temperature, but I've already seen 20-25 degree differences on days around 80 degrees outside. The true test will be in another month or so and we will see if the room above our garage stays cooler than normal.Another positive is that the garage is brighter from the reflection. I had recently bought a couple LED garage lights which already helped but now it's even brighter in a good way.As an update to this review. The room above our garage has been easier to cool down. We have an ecobee in that room and I've notice it has ran less even though it has been hotter. Very glad I bought it.If this review helps, I would greatly appreciate it if you liked it. I strive to write reviews to help others as I base many of my purchases off of reviews.

You need this for RV or home - excellent thermal insulation and UV protection.
First time, Amazon shipped one roll with a crushed dent in it. Not the packaging or shipping fault, box was fine. Thank you Amazon for a no hassle exchange - your policy here is gold standard!Excellent product, highly recommend!!! I cut this with shears and fitted to my RV windows and it immediately blocked the outside cold. I felt the difference in 10 mins, while working in my RV at night. Wow! Talk about insulation. In RV window application, if window does not open, then cut to fit inside of window frame as there is a hollow section it can tuck into. You will have to trim corners to fit window curved edges. Tuck in, and pull out easily when not needed. For windows where you slide them open, cut to fit outside of window, so cut larger by 1-2 inches around window size. If you cut to window size, you will have to use velcro on edges of window glass to hold them up. If you cut to outside, stick velcro to walls and stick this on.Works with blinds or curtains. Easy to remove. Immediate insulation. Good blackout curtains for boondocking in stealth mode. Cuts out heat and cold and UV damage. Does not permit good air circulation through windows, so not the best blackout system for hot summer nights when you want windows open. But the big roll, and use leftover pieces to insulate RV doors, windows, etc. Good thermal insulation, but not for noise blocking, not dense enough. Also very good for house windows in winter or to block out hot sun in summer. I am considering sticking some on top of AC on roof to shield from hot sun. Highly recommend for home and RV use everywhere. If you want this to look pretty, you can sew some cloth edging around outside of panel to 'hem' it.

Works well for cooling west facing garage doors
Lined our metal garage doors with this. They are west facing and the sun really heated up the garage. After installing this the temperature dropped about ten degrees in the late afternoon. If the sun is not what causes your hot garage the results will not be as good. Just measured and cut with scissors. Used Gorrilla double sided tape to insure that it stays in place.

Many uses
I bought this for insulating the inside of my pop up camper bunks. Worked GREAT! I thought I would cut the Insulation to fit in between the canvas and screens of the windows in the bunks but instead cut one piece and unrolled it to fit the whole inside of the bunks. It was 30 degrees outside and only had a small heater on and we were very comfortable. I also had enough to cut for under the bedding for extra insulation and never felt I was sleeping in a cold camper. I also saw if you do cut to fit and place the piece between the canvas and screens it helps to keep the camper from getting to hot because of the reflective coating, I will be trying this in summer.

AMAZING Temperature DIfference!
I've actually purchased multiple rolls of this product, because I hung it ceiling to floor to block off part of the garage for my living space. I also insulated the metal garage doors to keep heat out in the summer & in for the winter months. Made a difference of 10 to 15 degrees lower temps for the summer. Anxious to see how it keeps out the cold this winter!

Used as a heat barrier when Camping. Turning my 3 seasons tent into a 4 season :Dif you plan to use this for the same, 3-5 inch overlaps helps prevent major drafts and cuts back on some of the humidity build up. And don't forget a strip for inside your Sleeping bag. won't add too much extra weight and doesn't take up too much space.

Great for the RV
We just purchased a new 5th wheel a couple of months ago (2018 model). Every time we took it out something would go wrong with it. We were getting ready to head out with the 5th wheel a couple of weeks ago, the forecast was calling for blazing hot temps (it actually reached 116°). I was not about to run the risk of the a/c having to work too hard and quit working (so far we have had to replace the furnace, power cord and just this week the double fridge, see why I was skeptical about the a/c?) I ordered this product which I was able to cut to the size of each window, I pulled the shade down over the bubble pack insulation to hold it in place so I didn't have to use tape. Sure it was dark in the 5th wheel but I would much rather have dark than not to have a/c. It was amazing how much cooler the inside of the 5th wheel stayed with the insulated bubble pack reflecting the heat. I would recommend this product.
