Rug tape
Really keeps rugs in place. Almost too sticky. Works well on rug on rug. A large roll so lots of tape available. Somewhat hard to remove or adjust once sticky side is unwrapped.

Area rug tape that works!
My area rugs kept moving around. I needed a carpet tape that would stick to a low pile carpet underneath and the area rug. This carpet tape does the job and works amazing. My rugs stopped moving around and lifting at the corners and edges! Now my rugs don’t drive me crazy!

It's sticky!
This was a great find!We needed tape for our runner that we use on our carpet stairs. This is great for carpet to carpet. It's extremely adhesive and be careful cutting it with scissors, it will leave a sticky residue. I found that I could slice the strips I needed right on the roll and peel them off that way.So far it has keep my runner on the stairs in place and we walk those stairs multiple times a day, everyday.Love this and you receive such a HUGE roll. I was expecting duck tape size roll. Nope this thing is large and thick.

IDEAL for Throw Rug to Carpet
This tape is amazing. Bonded a 6x9 throw rug straight to carpet with zero bubbles or catches to the carpet (taped around perimeter + vertical strips every 12") in the final outcome.Did not need to be weighted down after placement; adherence was instant. No damage to underlying carpet on test removal, but removal took some strength. The grip is solid. There was still leftover tape on the roll after the above measurements of Use *and* a few feet of errors & testing.Apl in all, I'm completely confident that there is no danger of tripping or slippage. It's difficult to find tape that successfully binds fabric to fabric & I didn't think it would be possible without some kind of Velcro product, but this did it, much cheaper & well worth the very reasonable price.

The best! It sticks, no slippage!
Update: I just got another roll, it's that good.First post:I've tried a couple of different types of products for these runner rugs I have on top of carpet. This is by far the best product and it's a keeper. I also tried the optimum technologies RugGrip brand and it was no good. But this brand is excellent. You have to peel off the back layer after putting on the front layer to your area rug. Then you slowly peel the back cover of the tape and lay down the area rug on top of the carpet.Make sure you have your area where I can position and you lay down the way you want it from the start because this stuff will stick. And doesn't seem to stick permanently because you can peel it off but you may get some fuzz along. If you tape all sides it won't be coming up in any way when you are walking on it.Well worth the money, great product!I can see other uses for it around the house since it's so great, double stick tape.

This tape should have performed better!
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I thought this tape would be great to adhere an office chair mat to the low pile carpet in my home office. I am very disappointed with the performance of this tape because the tape is too sticky and is very difficult to cut. The adhesive residue stuck to the blades of two new pairs of scissors, and the adhesive residue was so sticky that I could not remove it even when washing the scissors with soap and using a stiff scrub brush. I so wanted this tape to work.In the end, I threw out the tape, scissors, and scrub brush because I was so unhappy. In addition, I did not want to use this tape on the low pile carpet in my office because I live in an apartment, and I am concerned a lot of adhesive residue would be left and could not be removed. I would be charged by the property management for such a problem when I move out and lose part of my security deposit. The box, which the tape comes in, does not provide enough instructions about how best to cut and apply the tape. I have worked with double sided tape before, so my recommendation for the manufacturer is would work on the chemistry and packaging of the tape as well as providing more detailed instructions about how to apply the tape without damaging scissors and carpet.

String Carpet Tape
I purchased this tape to secure an area rug on my dining room carpet. It sticks so well I actually freaked out because I didn’t think I would get it off of my carpet if ever needed. When I put some muscle into it, I was able to pull it off the carpet. I just wanted to make sure that I could. This is the best double-sided carpet tape I’ve used. #commissioned
