High quality trimmer that's built to last.
Great product to address nose hair, ear hair and facial hair. (Yes, I know, not a great subject for discussion but ...) I puchased mine four years ago and it does a great job. It's very easy to use. Operates on two AAA alkaline batteries and don't switch to lithium--I tried it and the motor didn't run the same so back to alkalines. I especially like the fact that the trimmer vacuums the clipped hairs but is still washable. It's a little fussy for disassembly and reassembly but if you take your time and don't rush it, it's easy-peasy and makes the cleaning process go much more smoothly. It does a great job trimming unwanted hair and works beautifully. I've used mine every couple of days over the last four years and it still works like new. It is a little more expensive than other nose hair trimmers I've seen (and tried) but it is definitely much higher quality, also.

Great powerful nose hair trimmer
I have had many nose hair trimmers in the past, electric and manual. This one runs smoother and is more powerful than all the others (well perhaps not as powerful as a manual trimmer - but does a better job!). Is very efficient and vacuum feature is good and avoids additional clean up (keeps wife/partner happy at least). I think the price is reasonable for a quality item that should last for a decent time. Some of the other electric nose trimmers I have brought over the years May work ok to start with but do not last long - and none of them do as good a job - that is one reason I turned to manual trimmers which work reasonably but are less convenient and can pull at hairs. This one is very pleasant and comfortable to use and easy to clean. Would have been nice if it came with a bag/storage case like some others (I have used one from an old trimmer which no longer works). One other feature which it is missing is eyebrow trimmers - which would be nice but not the main reason I brought this trimmer.Update: January 2024 - trimmer has stopped working. Looks fine, have changed batteries and tried different things to get it to work again with no success. A few times earlier I had to wiggle batteries around to get a good connection but that do not work this time. Had hoped would last longer but did a good job while working.

Good but maybe a bit sketchy on durability.
It's good, easy to use and easy enough to clean, on the durability front, however, one of the batteries needs to be jostled to a particular position every time I use it. Still works fine but a bit of a hassle

A very good device for trimming nose and ear hair
I’ve had this for 5 years. It’s built like a tank and made for a man. Never any trouble with its function. Easy to clean. Top of the line device. This does the job no ifs, ands or buts. Money well spent.

Not Worth the Money, Nothing Top of the Line About This Product
I’ve been using the Panasonic Arc5 for a couple of years now and have loved it so much, it really changed the game for shaving for me. Because of that, I trusted that Panasonic had great men’s shaving products and decided to buy this supposed top of the line nose hair trimmer, which as it turns out has been nothing but a disappointment. First, and most importantly to me, this thing has a hard time actually shaving all the nose hairs down especially for a close shave, and misses a lot of hairs. Because of this I have tried to apply more pressure to get that close shave but it has now nicked the inside of my nose several times, so their claim that it won’t pull tug or cause pain or have any direct skin contact is a straight up lie. On top of that, the cap can be difficult to put on fully and practically every time you take off the cap the head of the trimmer comes off too and gets stuck in the cap. That part isn’t that big of a deal but when you consider that this is supposed to be a top of the line product it is quite ridiculous. And it’s all plastic design just makes it feel cheap. There are other problems too but the problems i mentioned alone should be enough to tell you that there is nothing top of the line about this product. Overall I would say this product is no better or even worse than cheaper options, you are much better off saving your money and getting something cheaper, it will be just as good.

Panasonic’s top of the line ear & nose hair trimmer
Turned 58 and bought this as my old man birthday gift to myself. Got tired of plucking nose and ear hair (can lead to infections) so bought Panasonic’s top of the line trimmer.I also bought pricey lithium AAA batteries to reduce how often I have to swap out batteries. The battery cap requires a hard pull down to get past the rubber water tight ring. The serial number for registering is at the bottom where the batteries are. Panasonic requires a photo of the serial number and the purchase receipt which takes time, but they do give a generous 2 year warranty.Unit has good power and you can hear the hair getting cut but no pulling like other hair trimmers. The vibration is strong and may tickle but you can easily maneuver it so it doesn’t touch skin or press up against it to stop any awkwardness.I start in the ears, between the brows and up the nostrils. I then put some handsoap in my hands and run the trimmer to make suds and then open the water vent to let running water go through it. If you take apart the top, the and the trimming box take care of how it reassembles or it may fly apart. There is a definite lock turn on getting the silver trim box on/off. I used a white sharpie to make it more visible.Panasonic makes the best nose & hair trimmers so I don’t feel bad paying double what competitors charge for something that will last years.

Clean cuts
Works very well. No pulling only clean cuts.

Throw away the cap and it's a great trimmer!
If anyone else can get the cap off this thing without spraying parts all over the floor, good luck. Horrendous engineering. I do not use the cap anymore - it went into the garbage. As for the rest - I love it. Two batteries means more power. That's been the worst thing about the smaller ones - no power, and it fades fast. Forever fiddling with batteries. Not so with this one. Fits nicely in my hand, plenty of power, just a garbage cap.
