This is a truly fantastic screen for my new tablet. I always buy a screen protector with all my touch screen devices and this one does the job. It includes everything you need to get your screen ready to install the screen protector: a cleaning cloth, an cleaning alcohol wipe, a lint remover sticker, positioning stickers in order to accurately position the screen before installing it, and the screen itself. Cleaning and instillation took only a few minutes, so you can get to using your tablet in no time flat. My only concern it that there isn't any tool that helps you push out any air bubbles underneath the screen protector when installing it, especially since that is one of the steps in the installation. However, there wasn't any small air bubbles and I already had such a tool from another screen protector kit, so it isn't a deal breaker. Overall, this is a great screen protector for the Samsung Galaxy Tab A (8.0", 2019), Model SM-T290, in case you were interested.

The system for applying these tempered glass screen protectors is masterful. It was the fastest install I ever did on a phone or tablet. The material literally stuck itself to the screen once in position according to the very easy directions without a single bubble or dust spec. It worked so well I was tempted to do it again just to watch the way it began adhering on one side and walked itself across the screen without intervention from me: no squeegee, no nothing. I'm an engineer and it was a sight to behold.

I was pleased with the ease of application, and that the necessary cleaner cloth was included -- although I had already cleaned everything before opening the package. Once laid in place at the top edge and centered on the screen, the Supershield virtually pulled itself onto the screen surface. As the instructions indicated, gently pressing the few air bubbles to the edge was easy to do with the lightest touch, once I got them 'corralled' and headed in the same direction. The cutouts are also nearly perfect... just 'off' center by about 0.5 mm for the optical sensor ports. I installed 2 of these back to back on identical tablets, and was very attentive to alignment over the face of the screens. I am quite certain the edges of the Supershield are exactly aligned with the edges of the tablet screen, so the very slight misalignment does seem to be due to the Supershield. The tablet sensors do not seem to be disrupted, so it is only a slight cosmetic imperfection which doesn't even show once I applied a protective case to the tablets. FYI: one tablet had a pristine screen, but the other already had 4 minute scratches. After the protective layer was placed, 2 of those tiny scratches appeared larger; I speculate there is an indentation as well as a scratch, which the protective layer could not conform to. Again, my scratches are only 0.1 to 0.2 mm, so the apparent blemish is now 0.2 to 0.4 mm, not a big issue (pun intended.) Only those 2 scratches seemed to be magnified, the other scratches actually seem minimized by the adhesion of the screen protector. I’m pleased with this item, and would purchase again.

The Supershieldz applied to my son's Samsung Tab like a piece of cake! Maybe I just got lucky. I aligned the screen protector at an angle from left to right, and then I let it go and it sucked to the glass and I watched as the air traveled across the screen and went bye-bye. It was like magic and I was wowed! I have applied tempered glass to various devices in the past using different brands. Usually I have to press out bubbles or I end up breaking the protectors as I try to apply it in a way that doesn't cause bubbles. So it was nice to have this one just go on without a problem. I just hope it does well in the long run. I don't have super high expectations, mainly because this is for a device for my kid, so I expect it will break sooner than it would if it was for me.

I always try to get tempered glass screen protectors, as I prefer the look and feel of the screen vs plastic versions. Some tablet glass protectors require adjusting touch sensitivity for proper response (this one as well; Android 10 instructions below). This came with 2 for the Samsung Tab A 8.0 (2019) and it fit perfectly. The second hole is for the light sensor. If you've done this before, you know that prep is 90% of the difficulty (dust, etc). I went into my bathroom, let the hot water run through the shower head for a minute so that the steam would reduce the dust, wiped the screen with the included alcohol swab, wiped the smudges with the included towel (repeated) until I was satisfied, checked the reflection for any dust or smudges left over, then installed using the guides to hold the screen (didn't follow the directions but it worked fine), and let it sit for a few minutes before putting on a case. No bubbles, no mess, works great! I needed to increase my touch screen sensitivity (not uncommon with tablet glass screen protectors). In Android 10, go to Settings > Display > Language & Input, then change the slider under "Pointer Speed." I moved from the stock middle setting to 75% (moved slider to the right).

Good price, easy to put on, good quality. I haven't had to change this since I ordered it 2 to 3 years ago. No scratches on my screen. Any issues I had were my fault and it was little air bubbles when first putting it on.
