I specifically bought this rain coat because the hood was detachable, (hate hoods) and it has a silky liner so your shirt doesn't drag through when you slip it on, and because it's light enough, but has some weight to it.I walk dogs every morning for 2.5 hours and I need coverage but not a down or fleece coat which gets too hot. I wasn't sure what size to order as with broad shoulders and a large breast, I generally take a L or XL depending on the cut of the coat. Since people said this ran small, I opted for the XXL and it fits me big enough to wear a hoodie and thick turtleneck underneath during the colder mornings. I could have gotten away with an XL if I just wanted to wear this with a summer top. I like the XXL because I can cinch it in a few inches at the waist and I have lots of shoulder room to throw snow balls or Frisbees, etc. I always keep my coat zipped up and it fits well with plenty of room.With the XXL, the chest is 52 inches and the coat is straight so the waist and hem is also 52 inches. I have more than plenty of room for hips and bending over to pick up toys, etc. The zipper is plastic and glides easily even though it does not have a reverse zipper.. The pockets are easy to fill with dog treats and easy to put my hand in and pull them out in a hurry.The length is perfect to keep the wind out and covers the buttocks fully. The sleeves are a bit long but can be rolled up at the cuff. I wear a sling pack across my chest when I walk and this easily slips over the coat. Happy with the extra chest room.To get the wrinkles out from being packaged, just throw the coat in the dryer with some dryer balls and a wet kitchen towel for five minutes.Happy with the Royal Blue color...something brighter than the everyday grey, black or dark.Have not needed to wash this but I will put it on the gentle soak cycle overnight and hang dry during a sunny day outdoors.Lastly, I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a rain coat. It is priced right and I will be happy with it for as long as it holds up. It is sewn well and is sturdy enough for my needs and should last a good long time without breaking the bank.

Love this coat! Even if it’s not raining it’s great if it’s cold, windy, or even just to wear for style. I love the length and the quality in the material, zipper, and buttons are all there. I’ve never had a nice raincoat before and I really like this one. And the cuffed sleeves are what sold it for me. There are not many I could find with cuffed sleeves

This is a great little rain coat, light weight yet warm.Stylish and I Love the stretchy material.It’s a great value as well.

Love the color, No smell, quality is good, material is not thick but not too thin, pockets have enough storage for keys and a phone, snaps are nice, zipper works well, inside lining very nice with a soft touch, feels good against your skin, good for spring and fall weather. If you need more warmth you may have to wear a long sleeve shirt or sweater, but my size did not allow for a long sleeve shirt. I suggest going up on asize.I’m 5’3 1/2 inches, 164lbs, 40D bra size.I purchased a Large.Shoulder area does not allow much movement ☹️.Sleeves are short 😕.Hood does not cover your head very well 😞.These are the only reason I removed a Star from rating.Sadly I have to returned.

I have bought this product three times! One for my mom, one for my daughter and now for me. I can see why my daughter loves it so much. Not only does it keep me dry but keeps wind off me. I love the lining (very cute) and that I could tighten the waist if I wanted. I love that it has deep pockets that could hold my cellphone, keys, wallet and glasses. The hood is nice and big and removable. I got a large because I planned to wear layers but I could have gotten my regular size which is a medium. The hood kept coming down over my eyes because it was too large. Otherwise it would have been perfect. My daughter got her right size and is happy with it. I love love love the colors. We each got a different shade of blue. Love the color choices.

Bought this jacket to stand up to Ireland’s rainy weather. I was not disappointed. This jacket was cuter than it was in the pictures. Very stylish. It was long enough to keep rain off of my pants and clothes underneath. Pockets didn’t get soaked with rain and the zipper wasn’t an issue. I also layered up underneath to keep warm. This purchase was only to keep dry. This is really important when traveling to Ireland. I did rent an umbrella from the hotel which helped keep me dry as well. So I used as many methods I could to keep myself warm and dry not just relying on a jacket in a downpour in a country known for it’s always raining season. So overall I love this jacket. It stood up for me in the Dublin rain and I was comfortable, warm, and dry. I was not asked nor was I paid to review this purchase.

I really like the fit of this jacket. I’m shorter 5’3, I wanted a longer jacket and this fit the bill without being too long. It is light weight and fits comfy without being too loose or tight. Two things I don’t love about it, the material around the wrists is cloth and WILL get wet and absorb into the sleeve in heavy rain. But I like the fit so much, I just fold the sleeves under. Second, it will absorb water in really heavy rain, not a lot but enough that you feel a little wet in places. Light rain is fine though, no issues. I primarily use it to walk my dogs in the park, so it works for my purposes.

My wife loves this jacket, which I purchased for her. It is attractive and light weight and protects her from the rain while she is going from the car to her office, etc. She has not worn it for an extended time in the rain, but she's not planning to be in the rain for an extended time.

This coat was well made and I was happy with the lining which had a smooth, silky feel to it, making it easy to slip a sweater covered arm into the sleeve without the sweater catching on the material.However, although it fit me, I found it had a boxy, bulky look on me and was too long, even though it was classed as a jacket. I returned it.

I love it. I’m a size 12. With a big bust (D 42). After reading the reviews, I’ve ordered the Large size in gray colour and it’s perfect for me. Haven’t were it in the rain yet. It’s light weight and the lining make it more beautiful. The hood can be remove by zipper. Has big pockets and the length is perfect for me (I’m 5 6, 158 cm).If you are looking for a nice rain coat and don’t want to pay a lot, this is the one.
