Southern Tactical Bore Snake .22cal .223 5.56mm Gun Cleaning Kit

First off, the brush is copper and it is soft enough to prevent scratching. I bought it because it is cheap. It's a barrel cleaning tool for f#$ksake I'm not spending $30 on a cleaning tool. I knew the rope could rip off but I was either going to send it back or sew it back together. They must have adjusted the manufacturing because it was sewed about an inch up. It didn't break after ten times or more. It was the first cleaning of my M&P and this thing did the job. Sorry to those who had failures but a $30 rope cleaner will not necessary be better.

Absolute failure. On the 5th or so use, ripped apart 1/2 way down the barrel. Literally the worst possible outcome when using a product like this. Dont buy it unless you really like ruining your rifle.You can see in the image that quality is not a concern of their workmanship. How this actually EVER worked at all is a pretty good question.

Cheap product, fast delivery. I am sure you get what you pay for and I would not drag this through my bore without making sure I had the back end secured as well in case of a break you would still be able to pull it out.

It looks right. It's the right color for a .22 snake. They got the look down pat. However, as soon as you handle it you know it's light. First time through the bore, it makes it past the chamber and snap!! it's done. Piece of Garbage. Do Not Buy!

Works exactly as it's supposed to. Does the job as it should with my Smith and Wesson M&P Sport 2. Will buy again.

The pull string broke off on the first use. Will the vendor provide a replacement?

I use these to clean my barrels on my 223 and 300

Does the job with no issues. I ordered 3, each has cleaned 50 plus barrels with excellent results and no wear as of yet.
