Great question!! I just received this product and the silver tamper evident seal with the barcode on it is BROKEN! Also, the bottle was placed upside down within the box.

Is this good for mature skin?

Definitely. It gently exfoliates, and I swear I have younger looking skin after being a loyal used for over 15 years. I'm honest when I say that I get more compliments about my skin. No one believes I'm not in my early to mid 40s, but almost 57. I have incredibly sensitive skin and it is very gentle and cleans well. I do use a make-up remover to take off mascara and eyeliner, but wash my face and neck with the daily microliant. Love love love it. Haven't watched my face with anything else for 15+ years.
