Works perfectly
I purchased this junction box to test out a Di2 wiring scheme for my Shimano Steps-equipped e-bike to integrate the EW-EN100, left and right Ultegra brifters and motor control. The purpose was to eliminate the installed Shimano display and mount and use my iPhone instead. The bike's brifters and motor control connected into the Shimano display mount. The brifter wires were already routed under the bar tape; just the ends were exposed. I removed the display and mount, then hooked everything into the junction box. After doing so all the components worked, and the unit fit neatly under my handlebar. I secured it with a zip tie, plugged up the unused port with a dummy plug, and was done. After riding a few times, I decided that this test setup was what I wanted and stayed with it. The alternative I considered was to use a Di2 Y cable, but this configuration accomplished the same at lower cost and less hassle (no unwrapping and rewrapping bars to route the arms of the Y).

Ultegra INTERNAL junction box
This picture is of the EXTERNAL junction box so the picture is wrong. Make sure you get the proper JB for your application. Description says internal, but I clicked on it based on picture since text was chopped off on my PC. Internal JB with correct picture is also on site. Looks completely different. Not interchangeable.
