Have heard a rumor that they are going out of business. Desperately hoping this is not true. This is a wonderful strong decaf tea!

Decaf but still a strong brew with a nice flavor
Going with the theory that the traditional British cuppa is the standard to be held to, I ordered this so I'd have a nice decaf option for evenings. I prefer a strong tea, and this fits the bill. It's a nice deep color yet still with a relatively mild, not bitter taste. It's not a Breakfast tea - no malty flavor - but it's still quite pleasant. The box arrived opened, but I think that's due to it being crushed a bit in shipping. The round tea bags are packed in two foil packets inside the box, so the product itself arrived undamaged.Edit: It's 4am and my brain is telling me I need more of this lovely tea that I sipped on for most of the night. Just as it does every time I drink this at night. Either I'm very intolerant to any residual caffeine, or this isn't decaf. But it's so tasty. Looks like I'll be exploring more herbal options at night going forward. (Yes, I'm still referring to tea).

Where has this decaf tea been all my life?
I love iced tea and drink it straight up on the rocks, no lemon, sugar or other foofy stuff added. Unfortunately, caffeine in tea has become an issue so I went in search of a decaf black tea that wasn’t some pricey organic thing whose caffeine was removed by incantations from 100 year old monks. I tried as many American brands of Decaf tea as I could find. They were all vile. Typhoo Tea was mentioned in a magazine article so my curiosity led me to search the purveyor of all things and, to my amazement, I found it. It was dirt cheap and took about 10-12 days to reach me from England.I made a small carafe using 2 of the round teabags, poured over ice in my glass, added some water and took a sip. I was smitten! It tasted to me just like iced caffeinated tea, maybe even better. There was not a hint of bitterness or acidity. I have since indulged frequently, still getting the same satisfaction of drinking a very good tasting glass of iced tea.

Typhoo Decaf is delicious!
Typhoo Decaf is delicious! The sellers of this tea are in the UK and the tea is fairly priced and always arrives before it's promised. 3 bags of tea makes almost 2 gallons (I use 3 former 48 oz. juice jars from T.Joe's) iced tea which is refreshing and full-flavored. We like it with ice, no sugar or lemon. One bag makes a quart/liter (picture beer stein) of hot tea which we add half/half to for a yummy day or night treat. I first tried it in London and after trying many a brand, store, famous, chain, and other...none is better than Typhoo's for my USD!

A nice, robust, decaf tea!
I'm an avid tea drinker, but typically avoid caffeine in late afternoon and evening. Decaf teas are usually pretty bland tasting, so I resort to herbal varieties late in the day. Not necessary with this Typhoo Decaf! It's a sturdy, robust blend with a flavor that can hold its own against most regular teas. I love having a cup (or two) of this after dinner, plus it makes great iced tea. And it never keeps me up at night. Yahoo Typhoo!
